The LA Clippers are beginning practice on Friday
Transcript
00:00The NBA has released its practice schedule for all the teams going into
00:06the bubble. Now this pertains to the Clippers because they're going to start
00:09practicing on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Eastern Time, so it's a bit of a later
00:15practice than you would typically expect out of this team. And then they also
00:19practice on Saturday as well, so now what we have is we're just one step closer
00:24from basketball beginning. And Landry Shammott, like mentioned before, tested
00:29positive for COVID-19, so he won't be a part of these practices and he likely
00:35won't be a part of any of them. And the schedule moving forward is training
00:39camps begin from 9th and 10th of July, which are all the practices, then you
00:44have inter-squad scrimmages from July 22nd to July 28th. Landry may be able to
00:50join those, we're not sure, and then July 30th is when the season would resume
00:54with seeding games. So in the best-case scenario, the Clippers can still be fully
00:59healthy within that time frame, but as of right now, for the next couple of weeks,
01:03get ready to hear the word practice because that's that's all anything we're
01:07gonna really hear about. But just news from practice, despite, you know, Alan
01:12Iverson's opinion on practice, any news we have right now is better than no news.
