00:00The NBA has reportedly finished its investigation into Lou Williams and the
00:04L.A. Clippers guard is now facing a 10-day quarantine for visiting a
00:07Gentleman's Club behind the Orlando bubble, according to Athletic's Sean
00:10Sterrani. Williams will miss the team's first two seeding games, meetings at the
00:14Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans, as a result. The star reserve
00:18was excused to leave campus earlier in the week to attend a family emergency
00:22and while Williams did attend a funeral while in Atlanta, he also confirmed to
00:26the league that he stopped by the Magic City Gentleman's Club for some food,
00:29which is an action he's not permitted to do. He arrived back in the bubble on
00:33Saturday and immediately began his 10-day quarantine, but it'll be a while
00:36before Clippers fans can see him back on the court again. The next game he's
00:39eligible to play in is scheduled to take place until Tuesday, August 4th against
00:43the Phoenix Suns. Williams is a key piece of this year's Clippers team, so the
00:46absence will sting a little bit. The 33-year-old guard is averaging 18.7
00:51points and a career-high 5.7 assists and around 30 minutes a game this season and
00:56is a front-runner to win this year's Sixth Man of the Year award along with teammate
00:59Montrezl Harrell. That's what the Clippers have the first time to make do
01:02without Williams those first few games. Reggie Jackson, a playmaking point guard
01:07that's been red-hot in the field since order T in February, could see an
01:10increase in minutes in his absence, while guys like Terrence Mann, Amir Coffey, and
01:14Rodney Magruder can all get spot missed to make up the remaining difference. LA
01:17has been very shorthanded as of late, as guys like Montrezl Harrell, Patrick
01:21Beverley, and Avicii Zubac, and Lindsay Schaimer did not participate in Saturday's
01:25game for various reasons. Harrell and Beverley have been dealing with family issues of
01:28their own. Harrell is on the way back. Beverley's status is still unknown, while
01:32Zubac and Schaimer are en route to Orlando for the first time. Williams is
01:36quarantined with the Clippers in the short term, but the crafty guard can still
01:39participate in a majority of the team's seeding games and will ultimately be
01:42good to go for the postseason games as well.
