00:00Meanwhile, our Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Dr. Q, is here to answer some of your questions
00:06that you sent to our Facebook page.
00:09Good morning, Dr. Q!
00:11Good morning, Connie, and good morning to all of our listeners this morning.
00:16To my fellow Manuwakos in Antique, good morning to all of you.
00:20First question, Doc.
00:21PM's question.
00:22Is it normal for a fetus to pee a lot?
00:26Peeing a lot is what we call balisaw-saw.
00:29It's normal for a female fetus.
00:31But before we can say that it's normal,
00:33we need to make sure that a female doesn't have a urinary tract infection.
00:38Because balisaw-saw is one of the common symptoms of a urinary tract infection.
00:42If a female's urinalysis is negative,
00:45it's probably because of the mechanical compression of the enlarged mattress in the bladder.
00:51Because the bladder, or the pantog, is made by the mattress.
00:54So while a female's mattress is enlarged,
00:57there's a compression in the pantog.
01:00So when a female pees, she feels like she's still peeing.
01:03That's normal for a female fetus.
01:05And back to our Facebook question.
01:07Her nipple is very hard and it hurts.
01:11Especially when she's wearing a bra.
01:14It also hurts.
01:15What's the reason for that?
01:17I want to know, Jessica,
01:19if you're in the reproductive age,
01:22or if you're on the overweight side of the body,
01:26or if you have diabetes.
01:28Because these are the risk factors for an infection in the nipple,
01:33or in other parts of a female's body.
01:36So if this is your problem,
01:38I think you need to change your bra.
01:41Change the cotton material you use for your bra.
01:45And show it to your gynecologist first
01:47to find out what's the cause of that itch.
01:51Because sometimes, it's very uncomfortable.
01:55Because, of course, you'll get itchy.
01:57You'll get sweaty, especially now that it's hot.
01:58It's summer now, so you'll get sweaty.
02:01There's irritation between the bra,
02:05between your bra and the skin of your nipple.
02:08That's why you'll get itchy.
02:09So show it to your gynecologist first
02:11so that you'll be given the right medicine.
02:15Here's our last question for today, Doc.
02:17How long does it take for a woman with endometriosis
02:21and myoma to get an operation?
02:23This is a question from Rachel de la Cruz.
02:25It depends on the stage of endometriosis.
02:27If it's just mild endometriosis,
02:29they can get an operation without any problems.
02:32But if it's severe endometriosis,
02:34where even the tube is affected by an obstruction,
02:38or if there's a kink,
02:40or the fallopian tube is bulging due to adhesions,
02:44it's difficult for a woman to get an operation.
02:47An operation on the myoma depends on the location of the myoma.
02:50If it's outside of the mattress and it's removed,
02:52there's no problem.
02:54In fact, it can help with the fertility of a woman
02:58because it's easier for her to get pregnant if the myoma is gone.
03:17Endometriosis is an endometrial disease.
