00:12 Well, Hamilton is coming to Bristol Hippodrome this week and the story of the musical focuses
00:19 on America's founding father, Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became
00:25 George Washington's right hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the
00:31 very foundations of America we know today. It blends hip hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and
00:40 Broadway and it will be in Bristol until June 22nd.
00:43 Ah, so this is a very exciting one for the theatre lovers of us Bristolians. So shall
00:50 we move on to our second What's On in the City this week? Tell me about that.
00:55 Yeah, well, Bristol Beacon has been announced to be one of the venues that will be hosting

01:30 Glenside Hospital Museum has opened a new Answering the Call at NHS Commonwealth Nurses
01:37 exhibition. The exhibition focuses on the stories of the intrepid nurses who travelled
01:43 from the Commonwealth countries to work in the newly formed NHS post-World War Two. The
01:49 oral history of the nurses was recorded by a team of ex-nurses, students and community
01:55 members who then used stitching, print and sculpture.
