00:00 Welcome to Vegglass Cooking.
00:07 Today I am going to make Paneer Makhanwala.
00:20 It is a very popular restaurant dish in North India.
00:24 Most of the vegetarians demand this dish.
00:31 I have taken 200 grams of Paneer.
00:34 I have pre-prepared the Paneer.
00:37 I have boiled the tomatoes, peeled them and made a puree.
00:42 I have boiled the onions and made a paste.
00:47 I have fresh cream and butter.
00:51 I am using a little bit of fruit colour.
00:54 This is optional. You can use ginger or garlic.
00:59 I am using dry spices.
01:01 I am using turmeric, garam masala, red chilli powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, or you can use dry red chillies.
01:11 You can make it as you like.
01:13 Let's start making it.
01:15 It will be very instant as everything is almost cooked.
01:18 First of all, take butter in a pan.
01:22 We will also use a little bit of oil as it will be very rich if we use only butter.
01:28 First of all, add butter.
01:33 Add a little bit of oil.
01:38 Let the butter melt.
01:41 Add a little bit of finely chopped ginger.
01:49 This will be added along with the butter.
01:53 This dish is a little bit sweet.
01:57 If you use ginger, it will be very good for your digestive system.
02:03 We have added ginger and people are afraid that butter will increase the cholesterol.
02:09 There is a way to avoid that.
02:11 We will add finely chopped garlic.
02:13 This will reduce the risk of cholesterol.
02:17 Usually, we use fried paneer in this dish.
02:21 We fry the paneer and then we keep it in lukewarm water.
02:25 Then we use it.
02:28 But this dish is already very rich.
02:30 I don't want to make it more rich.
02:32 I will use raw paneer.
02:34 Let the garlic cook.
02:37 This is a basic dish.
02:41 Now, the garlic and ginger are cooked.
02:44 We will add the onion paste that we prepared.
02:49 We will boil the onion and add it.
02:53 We will add 3-4 cloves.
02:56 As it is already cooked, we don't have to cook it more.
03:00 We just need to add a little bit of butter flavor.
03:05 Now, we will add the dry spices.
03:09 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
03:13 1/4 tsp red chili powder.
03:15 1/2 tsp garam masala.
03:19 We will cook the spices a little bit.
03:22 We will cook it until it becomes a little bit raw.
03:24 The spices are already cooked.
03:27 We will add the tomato puree that we prepared.
03:31 This is tomato puree.
03:34 We will add 3-4 tbsp of it.
03:37 This is already cooked.
03:39 But we will add a little bit of butter flavor.
03:43 Now, we will add the food color.
03:46 A little bit of food color.
03:47 This is just for the beauty.
03:49 This is not enough for the garlic to be cooked.
03:52 We will add a little bit of oil.
03:55 We will add the paneer.
03:58 We will stir it delicately after adding the paneer.
04:00 We don't have to stir it too much.
04:03 We will add salt as per the spice level.
04:07 A little bit of salt.
04:10 A little bit of salt.
04:12 To make the paneer soft, we will add a little bit of water.
04:18 The paneer becomes soft.
04:20 We will add a little bit of water and cook it a little bit more.
04:23 The gravy has become smooth.
04:25 Now, we will add fresh cream.
04:29 You can use milk instead of water.
04:32 I will add fresh cream.
04:35 We will mix it well.
04:38 After mixing, the dish is ready.
04:40 It is very easy to make.
04:42 We will serve it.
04:49 We will garnish it with a little bit of fresh cream.
04:58 You can also garnish it with a little bit of coriander.
05:02 So, the North Indian famous dish, Paneer Makhanwala is ready.
05:05 Do try it.
