Mula nang lumabas sa Expecially For You ng It's Showtime, nakakuha ng maraming atensyon at pinag-usapan nang husto ang Cebuano lawyer na si Atty. Oliver Moeller.

00:00 Some people showing up to the law firm unexpectedly.
00:03 Oh no!
00:04 Then they ask for a notarization of the documents.
00:07 But they don't have any documents.
00:09 Hi, PEPsters! Welcome to PEP Spotlight. I'm Rachel.
00:26 And I'm Bernie.
00:27 And without further ado, let's meet the trending searcher of especially for you in Showtime,
00:32 now a celebrity, Oliver Moller.
00:35 Wow! Hi, Oliver!
00:38 Hi! And I'd like to say hi, PEPsters.
00:41 Welcome to PEP Spotlight.
00:43 And we're so happy to have you here.
00:46 Before we ask you the "getting to know you" questions,
00:50 we want to play an icebreaker game.
00:54 Okay, I'm game.
00:55 So we'll play a game called "Ako 'yon, di ako 'yon."
00:58 We'll just throw a few words and then you can say "Ako 'yon" or "Di ako 'yon."
01:08 Okay.
01:09 Then you can defend yourself.
01:11 Okay.
01:12 It's very easy.
01:13 Are you ready?
01:14 I am ready. Let's go.
01:16 There.
01:17 "Ako 'yon, di ako 'yon" number one.
01:20 One woman, man.
01:21 Ako 'yon.
01:23 Wow!
01:24 You know, I think loyalty is super important in a long-lasting relationship, right?
01:29 So, you know, if you weren't going to be loyal, why even get into the relationship in the first place?
01:34 So yeah, definitely "Ako 'yon."
01:35 You've been open about it, that he had four girlfriends in the past?
01:39 Five.
01:40 Five? Wow!
01:42 So in those relationships, you were really faithful, you would say?
01:46 Yes.
01:47 I would admit that, you know, there were times where you're still immature, you're still young,
01:53 you make mistakes, but, you know, I'm proud to say that I've never cheated on a past girlfriend of mine.
01:58 Wow, krabi. Loyal boyfriend, guys.
02:01 What was your longest relationship?
02:03 My longest relationship was six years.
02:05 That's a long term relationship.
02:08 Okay.
02:09 Number two.
02:10 "Ako 'yon, di ako 'yon" - "seloso."
02:13 "Di ako 'yon."
02:15 Like, you know, again, if I decide to go to a relationship, that means I have 100% trust in my partner.
02:22 And I'm pretty confident in that my partner would never put me in a situation to make me jealous.
02:27 And, you know, if ever I do, you know, think something's up, that's probably something that I should talk about with my partner openly and communicate.
02:36 So, yeah, I definitely don't see myself as a jealous person.
02:39 I feel like I'm very confident, very secure in myself.
02:42 So, if you are secure in yourself, there's really no reason to be jealous at all.
02:45 So you didn't experience the "Oh, don't wear sexy clothes, don't have friends, don't like guys."
02:51 My partner is always free to be herself, wear whatever she wants, and I'll be the number one hype man.
02:58 I'll probably tell her, "Oh, you should, you know, if you want to be more sexy at the beach or sexy at the club, go ahead.
03:04 I can drive you to the club with your friends and I'll pick you up after if you want. I don't mind."
03:09 You know, everyone has their own thing going on and my partner should be no different.
03:13 Where does your self-security come from?
03:16 Because usually, typically, not everyone.
03:19 Filipinos are just insecure.
03:22 What about you? How were you able to develop that security in yourself?
03:26 Well, I guess, you know, I just realized that, you know, when you, the more you grow up, the more you experience different relationships and stuff,
03:33 you just realize that you want people to like you for who you are.
03:38 And, you know, I'm very confident that, you know, there's no competition that should be going on.
03:45 Like, I'm not comparing myself to anyone else. I'm just me.
03:48 If people like me for who I am, that's awesome. If they don't, that's okay with me. I don't really mind.
03:54 So, yeah, again, when it comes to being secure in yourself, I just feel like just be yourself and know your value.
04:02 And I'm pretty sure there's people out there who know your value, too.
04:07 Okay, third entry. "Ako yun, hindi ako yun." Galante sa girlfriend.
04:13 Ooh. So, "Ako yun." So, you know, I mean, you always want to treat out your girlfriend, you know, make her feel special.
04:23 I'm one of those people, too. And I understand, you know, the changing times where, you know, sometimes your girlfriend is the galante, which is, you know, I don't mind it.
04:32 I'm just very, I don't know, when I have a partner, I'm just very happy. I just want to celebrate, you know.
04:39 I don't even need to wait for like parang birthday or Valentine's or Christmas to celebrate, you know.
04:45 Sometimes it's just a random Monday you want to celebrate with your partner din naman. So, yeah, "Ako yun."
04:50 Next, "Ako yun, hindi ako yun." Mama's boy.
04:54 So, "Ako yun," but let me qualify.
05:00 All right.
05:01 I mean, first off, I love my mom. My mom is probably one of my best friends.
05:06 You know, I just love her and, you know, I know that she loves me just like my dad does, just like my sisters do.
05:15 And, you know, I guess, I don't know, the love from your mom is different, right?
05:19 Like when you're brokenhearted, when you're sad, when you're down, when you had a bad day, you know, of course, your friends are always there.
05:27 Your partners are always there if you have them at the time.
05:30 But, you know, the love from your mother is just different.
05:33 You know, I feel like, you know, it's, I don't know, how do you explain it?
05:38 It's always there. It's never ending.
05:41 You know, you might not feel it all the time, but you just know at the back of your mind that it's there.
05:46 And you come from a very close-knit family because we've seen your family here supporting you today.
05:53 Thank you. Yeah.
05:54 So, yeah, I'm just fortunate to have the family that I have, right?
05:58 Like, they're always super supportive. They're always super loving.
06:00 So, yeah, that's part of the reason why I'm here too.
06:03 They're all based here in Cebu?
06:05 All based in Cebu, yeah. But my younger sister, she's based in Canada now.
06:10 All right.
06:12 Okay, this is the last entry.
06:14 [Speaking in Tagalog]
06:19 So, I think I need to qualify before I answer.
06:23 So, you know, I see myself as a go-getter, too.
06:27 So, I guess I'd say it more in a way that what I want to get, I will do whatever I can to get it.
06:35 But of course, there are limitations, right?
06:37 Like, the last thing I would want is to step on someone's toes to hurt anyone.
06:41 But, you know, if I want something, I'm the type of person to obsess with.
06:46 So, you know, if I want to be good at a certain sport, during my free time, I'm watching YouTube videos on how to get better at that sport.
06:54 If I want to learn a new language, you know, if I want to become a lawyer, I study hard.
06:59 You know, you just obsess with it.
07:01 So, I guess in that extent, yes, I'm the type of person to get it.
07:05 But more coming from a standpoint realizing that I might not know or have everything I want now,
07:11 but I'm pretty confident in my ability to learn, to adapt, to how to get it.
07:15 It reflects because you mentioned that you have a lot of sports, right?
07:21 So, you can really see the determination to get into stuff.
07:26 And then at 32 years old, you already have your own law firm.
07:30 I mean, how are you able to achieve that kind of success at a young age?
07:36 Well, you know, I'm fortunate enough to have partners in our firm.
07:41 They're very supportive and they're amazing lawyers themselves.
07:44 We have amazing associates as well at MN Law, at my law firm.
07:48 So, you know, when the decision came that, you know, let's build a law firm ourselves,
07:52 let's start something, let's grow something here in Cebu, I was all for it.
07:57 So, I really can't take a lot of the credit for that.
08:01 It's a shared effort. It's a group effort by everyone at MN Law.
08:04 He's a lawyer, sports enthusiast.
08:09 You also have businesses, if I'm not mistaken.
08:12 So, you're always cutting the jack of all trades, you know, anything that you...
08:17 I try. I try, yeah.
08:19 What kind of businesses?
08:21 So, my family has a lending business back in Cebu.
08:24 And we also have a coffee shop and a plant shop in Mactan.
08:28 Because my parents, they have the green thumbs in the family as well as my older sister, Yasmin.
08:33 So, they love plants, they love nature, you know, they love teaching people about plants and stuff.
08:38 My parents have a pretty big garden, which my dad writes books about himself because he's been retired for a while.
08:44 So, yeah, just happy to support, which is why, you know, I realized I have responsibilities back home that I can't just leave right away.
08:52 So, that's why I've decided, you know, to do this pseudo showbiz career together with everything I have back home.
08:59 And we'll see what happens.
09:01 Wow. You're a coffee lover.
09:03 Yes, I love coffee.
09:04 Like, you offer single origin kind of coffee in your coffee shop.
09:09 So, you know, we actually have our own beans. And yeah, we serve all kinds of coffee.
09:15 You know, I'm very happy and proud of the staff we have at Mimo Brew.
09:18 They're amazing people. And, you know, it's surrounded by garden and plants and stuff.
09:23 So, yeah, I invite everyone.
09:25 I hope you'll go to PEC there.
09:27 Let me know. Let me know when you're in Cebu.
09:29 We'd love to.
09:31 I'm curious, how did your parents, when growing up, what did they tell you when it comes to achieving your goals?
09:38 Because it seems like they are a big influence when it comes to achieving goals.
09:44 So, how did they, when it comes to growing up, what would they tell you when it comes to setting goals?
09:52 So, what my parents always told me that you can do whatever you want as long as you put your mind into it.
09:58 And don't think about failing because if ever I do fail, which, you know, everyone fails at some point of their life,
10:05 they're there right behind me to help pick me up and, you know, start off again.
10:10 So, I guess that's probably one of the, you know, I credit a lot to my parents where, you know,
10:15 like there's sometimes in life where you're afraid to take risks, but I just knew that my safety net was my family.
10:21 So, today, guys, Pepsters, we're here at PAO Manila, Newport World Resort.
10:28 And he got a contract signing with Garner's Code.
10:31 Can you share with us what it's all about?
10:34 Yeah, so, as of today, I'm represented by Cornerstone Entertainment.
10:39 I should probably share a funny story on how that ended up happening.
10:43 So, 12 years ago, I was actually contacted by Cornerstone and they asked me if I wanted to enter show business.
10:52 Funny thing is I wasn't able to read that message right away until a few weeks ago
11:00 when Erickson, the president of Cornerstone, reached out to me again and said, "Hey, I saw you on Showtime.
11:07 I actually messaged you 12 years ago."
11:09 So, I went through my message requests just to verify if this was true.
11:14 And lo and behold, my Facebook messenger, there's a message from Erickson, June 2012,
11:21 inviting me to be part of Cornerstone and try out a stint in show business.
11:26 And of course, one of the first persons I met right after the show was Erickson and the rest is history.
11:34 So, it's coming full circle.
11:36 Yeah, I know. It's crazy how the stars align for this moment.
11:40 And do you think that it's better now that you've graduated, you've established your own company,
11:46 you're better equipped to face show business than when you were still young?
11:52 Definitely. Now I'm 32 years old. I have a couple of years under my career in my belt.
11:57 I have an amazing support group, my close friends and my family.
12:01 I feel like 20-year-old me 12 years ago, I'm not quite sure how he would handle all this attention, this moment.
12:09 But fortunately, maybe 32-year-old me is way more confident in his ability to handle everything.
12:18 Now that you are a celebrity, what kind of work do you plan to get into?
12:23 What kind of projects that you are willing to get at this point in your career?
12:30 Well, right now I would love to maybe work with companies that share the same values I do.
12:35 Again, sports, fitness, the law, it's all the things I love.
12:40 Of course, I'm keeping my doors open.
12:42 Admittedly, I feel like this is my day one.
12:45 I'm very confident in the team that I have in Cornerstone.
12:50 I'm pretty sure that they'll guide me to whatever path is best for me and my family.
12:54 Are there commercial offers already? Are there projects in the way?
13:01 There have been a lot of projects actually and a lot of inquiries to my email address, to my phone,
13:08 which is part of the reason why last week I did fly into Manila to meet some people
13:13 because I wasn't quite sure on how I was going to be able to handle all those inquiries myself.
13:17 Now that I have Cornerstone with me, they're experts at that.
13:21 They handle actors, actresses, singers, content creators, influencers.
13:27 I'm confident that we can get on top of it.
13:30 You've mentioned during the press conference, Keola Pascual and Kathleen Bernardo.
13:35 What kind of shows would you like to do with them?
13:38 Any show, to be honest.
13:41 People that you always see as up that pedestal that you could probably never meet in person.
13:49 Right now, I'd be happy to shake their hand and have a photo with them.
13:53 When it comes to projects, that's just like the icing on the cake.
13:58 If Keola Pascual needs a random extra to walk past him in a movie or in a show, I'd be happy to volunteer.
14:04 Oh my goodness.
14:06 Do you feel like your fame has sunk in from the time you joined the "Especially For You" segment?
14:16 Honestly, I don't think it's fully sunk in yet.
14:23 I still get surprised at all the attention I'm getting, but at the same time, I'm just super happy and grateful.
14:28 I guess this is how people in the showbiz industry feel, right?
14:34 Them just being there, making people happy, it just makes you happy.
14:39 What aspect are you adjusting to?
14:43 Is it the attention, the cameras, the light?
14:48 Probably the attention is something I'm still trying to adjust to.
14:53 Admittedly, I'm still not used to being on camera.
14:56 I've always been and I still am an introvert.
15:01 But I enjoy talking to people, learning new things.
15:04 I've always loved challenges, which is why I did law, which is why I'm still into fitness, and until now, learning new sports.
15:11 I feel like everything I'm experiencing in the last three weeks and hopefully in the future, it's just another challenge for me.
15:17 Hopefully, I can conquer it.
15:19 How is becoming a lawyer helping you when it comes to being a showbiz personality now?
15:27 I guess one of the most important things that I learned from law school that I can definitely use now is just learning to listen and learning to adapt.
15:36 In the law, sometimes you have to do a bit of quick thinking and stuff and always be careful on what you say and how you treat people.
15:45 That's definitely been helping me out a lot.
15:47 Have you experienced any changes since you appeared in Showtime?
15:55 Like, are there more girls that you're getting to know or are there more DMs?
16:01 I mean, yeah, I mean, there's been some people messaging me on my social media accounts and stuff.
16:08 And you know, like, I mean, very friendly people, I have to say.
16:12 So, you know, I'm just happy taking everything day by day.
16:16 And I'm just grateful that, again, that if I get to make people smile or just be happy, then I myself, I'm pretty happy.
16:22 Is there anything crazy or funny that you can share that made you laugh or that you got a message?
16:29 Mostly, it's been funny. Mostly, it's been fun.
16:33 You know, mostly, again, there's nothing crazy. There's nothing scary up until now, at least.
16:38 You know, just like some people showing up to the law firm unexpectedly.
16:43 Oh, no. Wait, oh my God.
16:45 And they'll ask for a notarization of documents.
16:47 But they don't have any documents.
16:49 It's just funny stuff like that. But nothing crazy.
16:51 They just wanted to see you in person for sure.
16:55 Do you have a type in a girl?
17:00 So, my type in a girl, are we talking about physical appearance or?
17:06 It's up to you. Both.
17:08 Okay.
17:09 Appearance and then personality.
17:11 Okay. When it comes to personality, I guess, you know, shares the same four values that I do.
17:18 You know, loves their family, adventurous, you know, probably somehow into sport or fitness.
17:24 It doesn't even have to be anything specific because I feel like that's an amazing way to bond with someone that you love.
17:29 When it comes to physical appearance, again, like, you know, there's so many types of beauty in the world, right?
17:35 But me, personally, I'm very attracted to the Asian look in general.
17:40 How is it? Asian morena or?
17:42 So, I feel like it's just Asian in general. Like, you know, just that general subset or subgroup I'm attracted to.
17:51 If ever, are you open to have a showbiz girlfriend?
17:56 I mean, right now, I'm not closing any doors. We never know, right?
18:00 Like, last month, I never would have guessed I'd be in this position I am now.
18:05 So, I definitely can't say no to anything.
18:08 And I don't think I'd mind, to be honest, you know, as long as it's a real, genuine relationship and we're both happy, then why not?
18:15 And the last question, Pepsters also want to know, what are your favorite food choices?
18:20 Like, what are your favorite comfort food or the usual food that you get every day?
18:25 Okay, so, I love sinigang. That's probably my favorite food.
18:31 When it comes to comfort food, though, you know, like, I am advocating for fitness.
18:35 But, you know, every now and then, everyone deserves a cheat meal or just to, like, let loose.
18:40 So, some nights, Friday nights, I'm just watching Netflix at home in bed with a pint of ice cream or, like, an entire pizza, you know.
18:49 What kind of movies do you watch?
18:52 Adventure, comedy, horror.
18:56 Ay, yan. Grabe, Pepsters. Sobrang short but sweet, no? Sobrang, ang saya getting to know Oliver here today.
19:05 Okay, ayan. So, just to wrap this up, can you invite Pepsters kung ano yung mga dapat nilang abangan sayo or kung saan nila pwede i-follow sa social media?
19:14 So, hi, Pepsters. If you want to follow me and you want to learn more about me, you can follow me on Instagram.
