00:00Okay, let's start with Direk.
00:13How was the cast formed and how does your approach to incognito differ from the traditional action teleseries that have been produced in the past?
00:21As for the cast, I really studied who would fit the role.
00:28Of course, I aspired to have the best actors in the Philippines to compose of this lead cast of incognito.
00:41I did my homework, I watched a lot of films and videos that they have available online to see who would fit the role.
00:51So, Direk, what are the differences from the action teleseries in the past?
00:55The difference is that this is very grounded, the story of each one is very realistic.
01:01Their journey is that they are members of a private military contractors group.
01:10So, being a private military contractor is very unique.
01:15They are doing military works for the government but they are not military.
01:20So, that story is something that happens in real life in other countries or here in our country.
01:30We want to tell the story of that journey.
01:32So, is this what we will face in K-Dramas?
01:36That's what we dream of. It's up to the audience.
01:41That's what we dream of and what we are preparing and working on to improve the quality of our work.
01:51It's up to the audience to judge if we are getting closer or not.
02:10Well, I did my own preparation as well.
02:14Well, yes, we underwent 6 months long training that really helped me a lot.
02:22But I also watched films that would also help me imagine how I portray my character and do my own stunts like Atomic Blonde.
02:31There are a lot of films that I watched.
02:34Daniel?
02:35Yes, of course.
02:37We also did Blood, Blood, and Blood, Blood, and Blood before.
02:40So, we were able to warm up a bit in action.
02:45I also did some stunts in Tito Robin's production before.
02:48So, it's not that new.
02:50But of course, this is the longest one.
02:53And we are really just doing action.
02:57So, it's fun.
02:59It's fun to do.
03:02It's tiring, of course.
03:05But it's a different experience.
03:07And I'm looking forward to other actions that I will do in the future.
03:11Anthony?
03:12I also did Iron Heart before with Richard.
03:15So, I only did a few actions.
03:17The difference is that here, you will do a big action sequence.
03:22So, it's really good to do training.
03:26Because even I feel that I can do it well.
03:29When you get to the scene, you won't be able to do it.
03:32It's not that easy.
03:33So, at least, we were able to prepare for training.
03:36Somehow, we improved.
03:38So, I'm happy.
03:40For Ian, Richard, and Baron,
03:42you are known for your passion for action.
03:44So, can you tell us about the training you underwent for the action scenes?
03:48Were there any particular skills or exercises you focused to prepare for this project?
03:55Yes, we had to prepare specific for this project.
04:01We got consultants, Mr. Benjo Ramos and Patch Caballero.
04:05We trained Pikiti Tirsa, which is a Filipino blade martial arts.
04:11And we wanted to showcase this Filipino martial arts to the world.
04:15And also, we had Benjo Ramos training us for tactical movements and tactical scenarios.
04:24Gun training.
04:25So, our training was very specific.
04:28Aside from the basic learning of Muay Thai and martial arts that we also did.
04:36We focused on Pikiti Tirsa and, of course, gun training.
04:41So, I've done these trainings in the past.
04:44But I think what makes this different is because we're doing it as a group.
04:48And we're actually doing it with our fellow actors on set.
04:52Even the stuntmen were training with us.
04:55So, familiarization with each other.
04:57You know, the bonding, camaraderie that we built through the training.
05:02Which was a very good experience for us.
05:05Not only personally, but also professionally.
05:08We were able to do what was needed for the project.
05:11I've done a lot of action projects before.
05:14But it's so different from this.
05:16Because martial arts is different now.
05:19What's fashionable now is so different.
05:25Even the equipment that we're using now.
05:27It's so different from what we used to do.
05:29So, the training that we did in martial arts and guns was a big help.
05:34And like what Chard said, as a team, our movements are all different.
05:41So, that's a big difference compared to just doing solo action.
05:45So, the chemistry of the whole team is good.
05:48That's why it's easy for us.
05:49Ian and Richard are right.
05:51We had a good flow.
05:54And I think the flow is the most important thing.
05:57So that we're prepared for all the upcoming scenes.
06:03So, I'm just really, really grateful that I'm a part of this.
06:08One last question for Kayla.
06:10Kayla, can you share any particular moments or scenes from the filming
06:14that were especially challenging or rewarding as a newcomer to the action drama genre?
06:19Because you've said in your past interviews that action is your dream role.
06:23I feel like I really felt good after my first taping day.
06:31Because that was also the first time I did an action scene.
06:35I feel like you never forget your first experience.
06:39So, my first taping in Incognito, that one fight scene,
06:44I was so, so happy I was able to do it.
06:47And when I saw the rough edit of the scene, I was just so proud.
06:52And I really felt like I was able to manifest my dream of acting.
06:58But I feel like every time we're on set,
07:01every taping day that we have is just a dream come true.
07:05So, yeah.
07:06Very grateful to be part of Incognito.
07:10Thank you so much.
07:12And congratulations.
