00:40So this one can now go out and destroy the streets.

00:58It is very strange how religions have often said that it is violence and sinful to kill.

01:10But no one has ever emphasized that there is great violence in procreation.

01:18Today Ahimsa consists less of not killing.

01:23Today the greatest act of Ahimsa is to not to reproduce.

01:33Violence lies less in killing.

01:36Today violence lies much more in giving birth.

01:46But if somebody is assaulting someone, you are quick to deplore.

01:49You say, oh such violence, such violence.

01:54And if you come across a pregnant woman, you suddenly become so decent, so gentle, so accommodating

02:03and so tolerant.

02:22If someone practices black magic, then you say that he is badly conditioned by centuries of rituals.

02:40If you find somebody practicing black magic, then you are quick to decry.

02:49Medieval rituals.

02:56And how old is this ritual of procreation, I ask you.

03:04And why must this continue as a ritual?

03:08Why can't there be any wisdom in the decision?

03:14Why must you habitually procreate?

03:20Why must you take it as an obligation to procreate?

03:25Why must you feel that a part of your life remains unfulfilled if you are childless?

03:33Is it not hoodoo and voodoo and black magic to believe so much in maternity and pregnancy

03:40and the fullness of the nest?

03:48But no intellectual would come forward to say that maternity today is mostly an act

03:57of great violence.

04:03We keep on talking of saving life without ever knowing the meaning of life.

04:25There would be a blood donation cam and the holding would read, donate blood, save a life.

04:33And you feel like asking, save what exactly?

04:37Save what?

04:38What do you mean by life?

04:44A breathing mass of flesh, that's life?

04:49What's life?

04:53Something that begins when the child emerges from the body of the mother?

05:02What is life?

05:04Do you really want to save life?

05:08Then first of all learn what life is.

05:15Then you will really be interested in life and much less interested in giving birth.
