00:00 The independent candidate for the Kuala Kubu Bahru by-election, Nyawka Sin, is unfazed

00:07 by anonymous calls pressuring her to pull out of the race. She claimed a caller told

00:28 her that she would definitely lose the by-election and that she was merely wasting her time.

00:34 Nyaw said the caller told her not to waste her money as she would not get any benefit

00:45 she had no funds to campaign. The caller advised her to think it through before hanging up

00:51 immediately. However, Nyaw said, all of the callers were

00:55 very polite and none of them threatened her. Even so, she said she was not put off by the

01:01 calls and is determined to work harder during the campaign.
