00:00 With the government's push for digital India, many companies are stepping up their efforts
00:05 to manufacture technology within the country.
00:08 One such company is NetWeb Technologies, which has set up the first high-end computing servers.
00:15 NetWeb has invested 50 crore rupees in these servers.
00:19 They will cater to the rising demand for data center capacity.
00:22 My colleague Rishabh Bhatnagar caught up with Chairman Sanjay Lodha and METI Secretary S.
00:28 Krishnan to understand more.
00:30 Listen in.
00:31 It's important that we have domestic capacity and I think the domestic capacity has been
00:37 very, very useful in sort of establishing that this is a manufacturing exercise that
00:45 can take place in India, that can take place by an Indian company and they can actually
00:50 do it end to end in terms of conceptualizing the design and executing the entire process.
00:55 There are still of course components which come from different parts of the world, but
01:00 that's the nature of the electronics value chain, that it is a global value chain and
01:04 there will always be some part which is manufactured somewhere else because the size of the components
01:09 are small.
01:10 We will try to increase the domestic value addition, but in a company like this and with
01:17 a product of this nature, the domestic value addition is already very high.
01:23 Actually as regards basically, as I told you, this is an augmentation actually into a factory.
01:27 Actually during the IPO, we mentioned that we will be basically setting up this new line,
01:31 but it was targeted for 2025, but seeing the demand, we pre-poned it.
01:36 So that's the reason basically we have done this investment one year in advance.
01:39 The total investment would be around, in this facility, in plant and machinery, around 50
01:44 crores approximately.
01:45 And the demand, basically if you really see today, the Prime Minister's vision and basically
01:50 the country's vision is to make India the AI factory.
01:53 So you can understand the kind of demand which is there.
01:56 So basically that is really giving us confidence and that is helping us that that kind of demand
02:02 will be there.
02:03 Plus basically if you see over the period of last few years, we have seen our demand
02:07 comes from the government as well as the enterprise.
02:09 50% of our sales is into the government and 50% of our sales into large enterprise.
02:14 If you see, I have not seen the kind of the current, the data centers are booming in a
02:19 big way.
02:20 If there is no data center space available, I have not seen such times earlier.
02:25 So as regards demand is concerned, high-end computers are heavily in demand.
02:28 Only thing is that we should manufacture in India and to supply in India, then that will
02:32 really help.
02:33 But I would like to let you know with our partnership with Nvidia and all, we will manufacture
02:37 in India, we will manufacture for the world.
02:40 So we will even export it.
02:41 Thank you.
02:41 Thank you.
02:42 Thank you.
02:42 Thank you.
