Microsoft to open first regional data centre in Thailand

Tech giant Microsoft on May 1 said it will open its first regional data centre in Thailand as it looks to boost the availability of cloud services.

The news comes a day after the company announced investments worth US$1.7bil in artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud facilities in neighbouring Indonesia.
