00:00It's hot, but there's still a chance of rain.
00:04That's the possible weather for tomorrow in several parts of the country.
00:08In the Heat Index Forecast of Pagasa, it will reach 47°C in Dagupan, Pangasinan.
00:1546°C in Pili, Camarinesur, and Rojas, Capiz.

00:27There are 8 places where it will reach 44°C,
00:31and 42-43°C in other places including Cavite and Metro Manila.
00:38But even if it's cloudy, there's still a chance of rain based on the data of Metro Weather.
00:42That's possible in Northern and Central Luzon,
00:45Maropa, Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Panay Island, Northern Mindanao, and Soxergen.
00:52Metro Manila should be prepared because there's still a chance of thunderstorms.
00:56Easterly is a cheer line that is popular and affects the country.
01:03More and more young people want to go abroad to work,
01:08based on their studies.
01:10Most of them choose to work alone,
01:14instead of being part of a group.
01:16EJ Gomez is a witness.
01:18Gomez!
01:22Ini has already joined several jobs after graduating from college.
01:26She's looking for a good salary to help her family.
01:30Even if her job is good as a barista now,
01:33she still wants to go abroad if there's an opportunity.
01:37Actually, I'm helping my mom to build a house.
01:40That's why I'm considering to work abroad.
01:43Aside from that, I also have a sibling whom I can help.
01:49If she earns more,
01:50she will be more responsible as the breadwinner of the family.
01:55That's also what creative industry worker, Jha, is thinking.
01:59Honestly, it's really pay grade.
02:01Because when you compare the salary here in the Philippines,
02:04where they need the same expertise and skillset abroad,
02:07the salary abroad is higher.
02:10Amy and Jha are among the 52% of Filipino Gen Z
02:14who say they want to go abroad to work.
02:18That's based on a study by a health insurance provider.
02:22According to the study,
02:23most of the Gen Z were born in 1997 to 2015
02:28who want to experience a new culture and personal growth
02:32that will increase their competitiveness and marketability in the global job market.
02:37Gen Z are considered to be fully digitally native
02:41because they grew up in the world of social media and smartphones.
02:45A clinical psychologist, Rainier Ladik, explained,
02:48Since the Gen Z is one of the generation who experienced technological advancement,
02:54it's easy to get information and see what is life outside of our country.
03:01Their personality and openness to the experience of the Gen Z
03:06motivates them to try something new.
03:09There are also economic reasons why Gen Z want to work abroad.
03:14They are looking for better-paying jobs
03:17because of the continuous increase in prices and not the increase in wages.
03:22It also came out from the study that more Gen Z are now choosing to work independently.
03:30It's said that working with a group or a team gives pressure and anxiety to the Gen Z.
03:36The mere fact that their work will be observed and evaluated,
03:41so they feel all the more anxious working with groups.
03:44Working in groups may not show the skills that they have
03:48because what they see is always in groups.
03:50Gen Z also want to maximize their freedom.
03:55And this includes the feeling that they can direct themselves
03:59and they could achieve this by working independently.
04:03For JMA Integrated News, EJ Gomez is your witness.
04:09The local government of Pasay confirmed that the hospital they went to yesterday has no permit.
04:15The LGU also inspected the establishment.
04:20They explained why it has no business permit, sanitary permit, and doctor's license.
04:26It was said by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission that
04:30the injured and the patient, Mr. Pogo, are being rushed to a natural hospital.
04:36The facility has been in operation for several months.
04:40Like the hemodialysis machine, ECG machine, and ultrasound.
04:46No part of the establishment is owned.
04:51A teacher was arrested after he molested his 12-year-old student in Santa Barbara, in Pangasinan.
04:59According to a grade 6 pupil, the teacher let him in on Sunday morning for the graduation ceremony practice.
05:06But the practice did not take place, and instead,
05:09he was locked in a cell with his body part.
05:15According to the victim's mother, the child was crying when she saw him.
05:19They reported what happened to the police.
05:21The teacher was arrested in a follow-up operation, who refused to give a statement.
05:28Almost 8,000 passed the 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam.
05:34And the first one to pass was a 22-year-old woman.
05:38She shared her experiences before she successfully returned.
05:44There is no need for a Philippine pride to be considered a Filipino nurse.
05:51Aside from the in-demand in the whole world due to hard work, diligence, and quality of work,
05:57the contribution of Filipino nurses to global health care is also great.
06:01Not only that, Filipino-British nurses were the first to administer the COVID-19 vaccine.
06:06Even the Filipino nurses who dedicated themselves during the pandemic.
06:12Now, there is a new generation of Filipino nurses
06:15who passed the 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam with more than 7,000 nursing graduates.
06:21Their top-notch is the 22-year-old Abigail Escueta Kayanat
06:26of St. Jude College, Dasmariñas, Cavite,
06:29who submitted the highest score of 92.60%.
06:34Until now, she still cannot believe in her success.
06:38It still doesn't sink in.
06:41It's like I'm still in cloud nine.
06:43I'm not hungry.
06:45I don't feel anything.
06:46I don't know what I'm going to feel.
06:48But I'm so happy.
06:50It's not a joke that she went through the review process
06:53to commit her childhood dream of becoming a nurse.
06:56She deactivated her social media accounts first to reduce distractions.
07:02She doesn't lie anymore.
07:03And she's really good at studying.
07:06There was a time when she felt down,
07:09but she used the inspiration of her aunt as a nurse,
07:12as well as her parents.
07:13My mom and dad are also my inspiration
07:16because I really want them to experience a good life.
07:20And it's fulfilling as a child when you can provide that for your parents.
07:25For now, Abigail is just cashing in on the cake and flowers
07:28that her school gave her
07:30because they still don't have the budget to start a business.
07:33And her plan is to serve the school and the country first.
07:37That's why she's going to teach and become a nurse at the same time.
07:40I really prayed that when the Lord gave this to me,
07:44I'll share my knowledge as well.
07:45I'll teach as well.
07:47You'll practice as a nurse.
07:49For now, I also want to practice as a nurse here in the Philippines,
07:54especially in public hospitals.
07:56For GMA Integrated News,
07:58I'm Maryse Umali.
08:00Succeed!

08:19According to Tyson,
08:20his return to the boxing ring is to prove to the world
08:24that he's still a great fighter.
08:27On July 20, the two will face off in Texas, America.
08:32This is Tyson's first professional fight.
