00:00Swansea City would be next. Not the greatest season for them, finishing 14th at times throughout
00:14the season. It was possible, speaking of play-offs, we saw the gap between the 5th place and 12th
00:21was only a few points throughout a lot of the season. How would you summarise Swansea
00:26City's season? Obviously, it's not been ideal. 19 losses in the Championship this season,
00:32it's something certainly they need to work on. It would have been their worst season
00:35for a good few years for Swansea. Like Cardiff, they've both been in the Championship now
00:42for a good few years. It feels like this is just where they're destined to just be for
00:47a long time. Swansea obviously had a great thing in the Premier League a few years ago,
00:49but they've been Championship teams for years now. Middle of the pack Championship teams.
00:55But Swansea are always the ones looking at the play-offs. They're always looking up rather
00:58than looking down. Last year, they were close. They were one win away from the play-offs.
01:03This year, it's not good enough for them. A lot of the problems were off the pitch early
01:09on in the season, losing the manager late on in the summer. It was always destined to
01:16not go well. For Swansea City, it wouldn't have been good enough for the fans. It wasn't
01:22particularly good on the pitch. They got back to their kind of Swansea way possession
01:26game a bit more and fans would have been happy to see that. But if they get the right things
01:31this summer, they'll be looking up again. It always happens. Championships are so close,
01:35you never know one season to the next. But they can put this one behind them, I think,
01:39for Swansea. They're right off this year and look towards next season.
01:44And finally, Cardiff City. Obviously, we've spoken about it before that it's not been
01:49the greatest of seasons. 22 losses in a championship, but obviously 19 wins to go with that. So
01:55it's almost as if they were either winning well or losing games. Only five draws throughout
02:00the whole season. It's quite rare to see. Obviously, quite a strange situation with
02:05their manager as well, going into the summer, still quite unsure about his future. How do
02:10you assess Cardiff City's season this time around?
02:13So you say about the manager, obviously, you're not sure of the situation now, but it's actually
02:17been one of the more solid years of a manager. It's the first in about five or six years
02:24that we've had a manager last the whole season. Three managers last year, for example. But
02:29this year, yeah, Errol Bullock, he's been one of the key parts of this season. He's
02:36brought a bit of stability to the club on the pitch, clearly off the pitch now with
02:42having a manager that the fans want to have back. He wants to be back, as far as I can
02:46tell, the organisation themselves wanting him back. So I'm not really sure why it's
02:50been stalled so much. But yeah, overall, it's kind of a good season for Cardiff compared
02:55to how they've been. There's been relegation battles the last few years. So they'll take
02:59mid-table.
