Arrests made and cannabis seized after knowle burglary

After a 999 call from a member of the public, officers were called just before 2.10am on May 14th, following reports that a group of people were trying to break into a house in William Street.

00:08 on 14th May. Four people are now in police custody after the officers were called to
00:14 a suspected burglary in Progress and St Paul's in Bristol. After a 999 call from a member
00:21 of the public, officers were called just before 2.10pm following the reports the group were
00:27 trying to break into a house in Williams Street. Officers attended, arrested four men on foot
00:34 nearby and after further enquiries seized a car. Suspected cannabis plants were being
00:40 grown in the house which was targeted. Four men in their 20s from London, Essex, Hertfordshire
00:47 were arrested on suspicion of burglary and now remain in police custody. None of the
00:54 four men have yet to be found guilty of this incident.
