00:07 [Arabic]
00:26 The days of Hajj are going on, the months of Hajj are going on.
00:30 This is the month of Dhul Qa'da, the month of Hajj, and after that is Dhul Hijjah.
00:35 So these three months are Shawwal, Dhul Qa'da, Dhul Hijjah.
00:39 These are the months of Hajj.
00:41 There is a need to understand the philosophy of Hajj.
00:44 We talked last week about the importance of Hajj, that it is one of the five pillars.
00:50 It is a food of spirituality, it is a booster dose of spirituality.
00:55 We talked about it from that perspective.
00:58 But there is a need to know another perspective of it.
01:02 Allah is our Lord.
01:06 He is the Creator, He is the Lord.
01:08 The meaning of Creator is that Allah has made us.
01:11 We have come from Allah, we are going back to Allah.
01:16 We are all.
01:17 [Arabic]
01:20 This is the meaning.
01:21 Allah is our Lord.
01:24 The first introduction Allah gave us in Surah Al-Fatiha,
01:28 [Arabic]
01:31 The whole introduction is for Allah, who is the Lord of the worlds.
01:36 What does the word "Rab" mean?
01:38 It means "the one who takes care of us" as it is translated in Urdu.
01:41 He takes care of all our needs.
01:45 He gives us all our needs.
01:48 How does Allah run the whole system in the mother's womb?
01:53 All the nourishment of the child is in the womb of Allah.
02:03 How does the child have a connection with the mother's body through the umbilical cord?
02:11 And she is getting all her food.
02:13 It is an amniotic fluid and it is flowing inside.
02:16 Out of nowhere, nothing happens to the child.
02:19 And such complex systems are formed in the child's brain, eyes, tongue, ears, hands, nose, lungs, liver, intestines, everything.
02:37 This is why Allah said that there are signs in the earth for those who believe.
02:46 [Arabic]
02:47 You don't see so many signs inside you.
02:50 See how many signs of nature are there inside you that there is someone who created you.
02:56 There is a Creator and Allah is our Lord.
02:59 He takes care of all our needs.
03:01 As soon as the child is born, the mother's breast starts to produce milk.
03:05 The breast which was dry at first, suddenly started to produce milk.
03:11 So Allah has brought us up there too.
03:14 As the needs of the child increase, the needs of the child are being fulfilled.
03:22 The needs of the child are being fulfilled through all the systems of the human being.
03:26 We eat food, that food is playing its role to fulfill all the needs of the body.
03:35 If we get hurt, if we get a cut, the whole system of the body comes into action to heal that wound.
03:45 We have a doctor inside us.
03:47 The biggest doctor is inside us.
03:49 A natural doctor, a natural system.
03:53 If we get a cut, a light cut, not a deep cut,
03:59 then in the West, doctors say, "Don't do anything.
04:04 Just keep it clean so that there is no infection."
04:08 I am talking about a normal cut, not a deep cut.
04:11 If a paper cut is injected, for example, or something like that,
04:13 it will heal by itself.
04:15 What does "itself" mean?
04:16 It means that the natural system inside us is such that the whole mechanism of the body starts healing it.
04:27 And we will keep talking about it.
04:30 But my purpose is to say that He is the Lord of the worlds.
04:35 He is the One who takes care of all our needs.
04:38 He is the One who is nurturing us.
04:39 I am talking about myself, I am talking about you.
04:41 But if we talk about the other creatures of Allah, whether it is the sun, the moon, the stars, the earth, the trees, the plants, the animals,
04:49 the reptiles, the ants, the spiders,
04:54 He is taking care of each and every creature.
04:58 So, Allah has introduced us to Him first.
05:02 The One who is nurturing you is your Lord.
05:05 He is Allah, the Lord who is nurturing you.
05:08 Don't lie, don't take bribe, don't deceive.
05:15 Allah will nurture you.
05:18 Halal means to earn.
05:20 And this will be the question in the grave.
05:25 The question in the grave will not be who is your Creator?
05:28 It will be asked, "I am the Lord's".
05:30 Who was your Lord?
05:31 Who did you consider to be the One who nurtured you in life?
05:35 If someone gives a small gift to someone,
05:39 then the person who gives that gift,
05:42 will feel love in his heart.
05:45 He is a very good person.
05:47 He gave me a gift.
05:48 Of course, the gift should be with sincerity.
05:51 It should be with love.
05:53 It should not be a show off.
05:54 If the gift is given with sincerity,
05:56 then the natural response to it is love.
06:00 So, to develop love for a gift,
06:05 that Lord who gave everything,
06:08 my eyes are seeing only because my Lord gave me eyesight,
06:14 my ears are listening because my Lord gave me hearing,
06:17 my tongue is speaking because my Lord gave me speaking power,
06:22 my mind is thinking because my Lord gave me the power to think,
06:26 and to show you,
06:30 there are such people in the society
06:32 who have some kind of challenge in them.
06:39 They cannot see, cannot hear, cannot think,
06:43 their body grows big, their mind remains small.
06:47 So, what is it that I do not have?
06:50 If there is love for a gift,
06:52 then shouldn't there be love for so many gifts?
06:56 Of course, there should be.
06:58 But for that, one needs to contemplate.
07:00 There are people who say,
07:02 "Rabbi, I have no one. I do not have God, Maazallah."
07:06 SubhanAllah.
07:08 This is a strange thing.
07:10 A person, out of nowhere,
07:13 came into this world from his mother's womb,
07:16 became such a great person,
07:18 and now someone says that he does not have God.
07:20 So, the one who contemplates,
07:22 who thinks,
07:24 who thinks,
07:26 he does not only have the knowledge of God,
07:29 nor does he know God,
07:31 but he also has love for God.
07:34 Some kind of love.
07:36 And God wants that level of love to be extreme.
07:41 "And those who believe,
07:43 they love God most."
07:45 The believers have a strong love for God.
07:48 And there should be a strong love.
07:51 And for that, as I said,
07:53 one way is to contemplate on the blessings of God.
07:57 When a person contemplates on the blessings of God,
08:00 he will have a strong love for God.
08:03 So, love is required to talk to the beloved,
08:08 to see the beloved,
08:10 to go to the beloved's house.
08:14 Remember one more thing,
08:17 that God is not only demanding that we love God,
08:21 the believers.
08:23 God also loves all of his creatures.
08:26 All of his creatures.
08:28 Amongst them, the most noble of all creatures is man.
08:32 And among that man,
08:34 the one who believes in God,
08:36 the one who believes in God,
08:38 God has even more love for him.
08:40 "Allah is the guardian of those who believe."
08:43 Allah is the friend of the believers.
08:46 He is their protector,
08:48 their caretaker.
08:51 So, among the creatures,
08:53 man is the one who believes in God.
08:58 And he believes in God,
09:00 and he follows the words of God.
09:03 God has called him his guardian.
09:05 "Verily, the guardians of Allah are those on whom no fear,
09:08 nor do they grieve,
09:09 who believe and are righteous."
09:11 "Who are they?"
09:12 Know that they are the guardians of Allah,
09:14 they are Allah's friends.
09:15 They have no fear, nor do they grieve.
09:17 Who are these people?
09:18 Those who believe and are righteous.
09:20 They believe in Allah and in Allah's will.
09:23 So, Allah loves them too.
09:25 The one whom Allah is calling to his house,
09:28 to come to his life at least once.
09:30 "And to Allah belongs the people.
09:32 Those who are able to,
09:33 to Him is the way."
09:34 It is necessary for people to perform the Hajj to the House of Allah.
09:39 Whoever is able to go on that journey.
09:42 Allah is calling,
09:44 calling in His love.
09:45 "This is my house, come."
09:47 In this world,
09:48 a person cannot see Allah.
09:51 But Allah has made a structure,
09:54 which Allah has called his house.
09:57 Allah does not live there,
09:58 but it is related to Allah.
10:00 So, the one who will love Allah,
10:02 he will want to see Allah,
10:05 to see his beloved.
10:07 But the house which Allah has called his house,
10:11 he should see that house.
10:13 This crazy circle,
10:15 this Tawaf,
10:16 is actually the expression of love,
10:18 which a believer has for his Lord.
10:21 This is the philosophy of Hajj.
10:23 Allah is calling,
10:25 to his people,
10:27 for his love.
10:30 "O my people,
10:32 O believers,
10:33 I love you,
10:34 come and see my house,
10:37 wear two clothes,
10:39 leave the world,
10:40 whether you are rich or poor,
10:43 minister or whatever,
10:46 wear all the same clothes and come to me.
10:49 Do Tawaf of my house.
10:51 There is a field,
10:55 Arafat,
10:56 go there on the day of Nauzul Hujjah,
10:58 and ask me there,
11:00 I will give you.
11:01 Repent, come to me."
11:03 This is the request of Allah.
11:05 Because Allah loves his people,
11:07 the believers.
11:09 And Allah wants this love to be reciprocated.
11:13 The believers should also express this love.
11:16 Hajj is the expression of Allah's love.
11:20 So go to Hajj,
11:22 and express your love for Allah.
11:24 And go as you should go.
11:27 There should be no shamelessness,
11:28 no sin,
11:30 no disobedience to Allah,
11:31 no fighting,
11:33 purely for Allah,
11:35 to please Allah.
11:37 For Allah, purely.
11:39 If you love someone,
11:41 and you tell someone,
11:43 "Come to my house,
11:45 come to my house,
11:46 come to my house."
11:47 And you have a very strong love for him,
11:48 and he keeps denying,
11:50 "I don't come,
11:51 I don't come,
11:52 I don't come."
11:54 It is very natural that you will be angry,
11:57 I love you so much,
11:58 I am calling you to my house,
11:59 you don't come."
12:01 Similarly, Allah says,
12:03 "If you don't come,
12:04 I will be angry with you."
12:07 Allah says,
12:08 in the last part of the verse,
12:10 "And if anyone denies coming to Hajj,
12:17 Allah does not care about the worlds."
12:24 This is an expression of anger,
12:26 "I don't care."
12:28 This is a very dangerous thing.
12:30 May Allah be angry.
12:32 I don't go to Hajj,
12:33 and I make Allah angry.
12:34 Allah is calling you to his house,
12:36 in his love,
12:37 Allah is saying for the people of Allah,
12:40 "Come to my house,
12:42 do Tawaf,
12:43 do Sa'eed,
12:44 go to Arafat,
12:45 stay in Mina,
12:46 express your hatred for Satan,
12:48 by throwing stones at the Jamarat,
12:50 ask from me,
12:52 say, "Ask from me,
12:53 O Allah,
12:54 who is in this world,
12:55 in the hereafter,
12:56 and in the hereafter,
12:57 give me the best in this world,
12:58 and in the hereafter,
13:00 save me from the torment of hell,
13:02 save me from the fire of hell,
13:03 come and ask."
13:04 This prayer has been revealed in the context of Hajj itself.
13:08 And the person says,
13:10 "I don't come,
13:11 I don't come,
13:12 I don't come."
13:13 This is the anger of Allah.
13:14 Allah says,
13:15 "I don't care,
13:16 if you don't come, then don't come.
13:17 Allah is self-sufficient,
13:20 Allah has no need for anyone,
13:22 neither my need,
13:23 nor your need,
13:24 nor anyone's need.
13:25 Allah is self-sufficient,
13:27 we are poor,
13:28 we have a need,
13:29 I have a need,
13:30 you have a need.
13:32 So please,
13:33 in the love of Allah,
13:35 make the intention of Hajj.
13:37 Make an intention,
13:38 make it your priority number one.
13:40 Try to go this year only,
13:44 if you can,
13:45 or make an intention to go next year,
13:47 whoever can go,
13:48 whoever has the wealth,
13:49 wealth is priority number one.
13:51 Last week,
13:52 we talked about this,
13:54 if you have wealth,
13:55 make Hajj as priority number one.
13:57 Especially those people,
13:59 who have been given a lot of wealth.
14:00 We keep delaying,
14:02 but please,
14:03 don't refuse the call of Allah's love.
14:07 Allah is saying,
14:09 "Come,
14:10 we say,
14:11 'Labbayk,
14:12 Allahumma Labbayk,
14:13 Labbayka La Sharika Laka Labbayk,
14:15 Innal Hamda Wal Ni'mata Laka Wal Mulk,
14:18 La Sharika Lak'
14:19 Allah, you called me,
14:21 I am present,
14:22 O Allah, I am present,
14:23 O Allah, you have no partner,
14:24 I am present.
14:27 With this Labbayk Kalimah,
14:29 everyone should go for Hajj.
14:30 Try to go as soon as possible.
14:33 May Allah call us all for Hajj.
14:35 May Allah give us all
14:37 His intense love.
14:39 When Allah calls us to Him,
14:42 at last,
14:43 may Allah make us pleased with Him,
14:45 not upset with Him.
14:47 The one who pleases Allah,
14:49 when he dies,
14:50 when he goes back to Allah,
14:53 he has no fear,
14:55 no sorrow.
14:56 Death is a blessing for him.
14:57 May Allah not do this.
14:59 If someone dies in a state
15:00 where Allah is upset,
15:02 this is a sign of danger.
15:04 May Allah protect us all.
15:06 InshaAllah,
15:07 we will take a short break.
15:08 After the break,
15:09 we will be present with your questions.
15:11 You can email your questions
15:12 at DeenFitrah@ayrwaydigital.tv
15:15 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
15:18 Welcome back.
15:19 We are back with your questions.
15:21 Someone asked,
15:23 I did Hajj with my parents in my childhood.
15:26 Did I complete Hajj?
15:29 Is it a falsehood?
15:30 Is it a pillar of my religion?
15:32 Did I complete it?
15:34 The answer is,
15:35 it is not a falsehood.
15:37 After puberty,
15:39 when a child becomes an adult,
15:41 whether it is a boy or a girl,
15:45 the signs of adulthood
15:47 are seen on the child.
15:49 Menstrual cycles start,
15:51 the boy gets wet dreams.
15:53 When the signs of adulthood are seen,
15:58 and if the signs are not seen,
16:00 then there is a slight difference.
16:03 There is a difference of opinion
16:04 that it is a matter of Ijtihad.
16:05 But according to one opinion,
16:06 when a child is 15 years old,
16:09 if the other signs are not seen,
16:11 then he becomes an adult.
16:13 When we talk about 15 years,
16:15 this year is the lunar calendar,
16:17 according to the Islamic calendar.
16:19 So, after puberty,
16:21 it will be necessary to perform Hajj again.
16:23 Then its falsehood will be fulfilled.
16:25 So, if someone has done Hajj in childhood
16:28 with his parents,
16:29 then when he becomes an adult,
16:31 and after puberty,
16:32 if all the other resources are there,
16:34 the conditions of Hajj,
16:36 if they are fulfilled,
16:37 if the conditions are fulfilled,
16:39 then go again for Hajj,
16:43 so that the duty of going for Hajj once in life
16:47 can be fulfilled.
16:49 Some people have asked,
16:54 that can I take my child,
16:57 who has become an adult,
16:59 to Hajj on my own expense?
17:03 Will my child's duty of Hajj be fulfilled?
17:06 The answer is, yes, it will be fulfilled.
17:09 Financial worship is such a worship
17:11 that can be done on behalf of someone.
17:13 For example, my wife has gold,
17:16 but she does not have cash.
17:20 But I have cash.
17:23 So, it is possible that I give my wife's gold Zakat
17:26 on her behalf.
17:28 It is possible.
17:29 I can tell my wife,
17:30 that you keep your gold,
17:32 and I will pay your gold Zakat.
17:36 This is one of the possibilities.
17:39 Similarly, Hajj is also like this,
17:43 if someone wants to perform Hajj,
17:46 and he says that he will pay,
17:48 then he will perform Hajj,
17:50 if he is an adult.
17:52 Similarly, if parents perform Hajj
17:56 for their adult children,
17:59 then the duty of Hajj of life
18:01 will be fulfilled.
18:03 And if they do not get a chance later,
18:06 then their duty of Hajj is fulfilled.
18:09 A third question,
18:11 someone asked that,
18:13 I have gone to perform Hajj,
18:16 I have performed my duty of Hajj,
18:18 but at that time I was not aware,
18:20 I did not have the wisdom,
18:22 I performed the Hajj in a very formal way,
18:24 I did not perform the Tawbah properly,
18:26 which is one of the signs of Hajj-e-Mabroor,
18:29 that a person should perform Tawbah,
18:31 change his life,
18:32 and go to Hajj with the intention of living a righteous life,
18:36 so that when he comes,
18:38 he has a different lifestyle,
18:40 a lifestyle of Shariah, Sunnah, Taqwa,
18:43 because one of the purposes of Hajj is this,
18:46 Hajj-e-Mabroor is called
18:48 that a person comes with the achievement of Taqwa,
18:51 life should be changed.
18:53 So, he said that I did Hajj,
18:55 but I did it in a very formal way,
18:57 life did not change,
18:58 so can I go to Hajj again?
19:00 Definitely you can go to Hajj,
19:02 you can go to Hajj as many times as you want in life,
19:05 but the Fardh Hajj was the first one,
19:08 all the other Hajj will be Nafl Hajj,
19:12 that is extra because the Fardhiyat has been performed,
19:15 but the Nafl Hajj is also very important,
19:22 the whole journey of Hajj,
19:24 the whole worship of Hajj,
19:26 when we talk about spiritual boost,
19:28 the spiritual boost is found in every Hajj journey,
19:30 as many times as one goes to Hajj,
19:32 if he has a lot of wealth,
19:34 he has opportunities,
19:35 he wants to go and he goes,
19:37 then he will get the spiritual boost in every Hajj.
19:39 Now, if you have wealth,
19:41 you want to go,
19:43 then definitely go,
19:45 and go with the intention that
19:47 now when I do Hajj or I will do,
19:49 then I will change my life,
19:51 InshAllah,
19:53 and the rest of the life,
19:55 I will try to live according to the Shariah, Sunnah, Taqwa,
19:58 InshAllah,
20:00 so definitely you can do it,
20:02 but remember that the Fardh Hajj has been done,
20:04 now when you go to Hajj,
20:06 then it will be your Nafl Hajj.
20:09 Someone else has written a question,
20:11 it is not related to Hajj,
20:12 but someone has written a question,
20:13 has emailed,
20:14 that someone's daughter,
20:16 she wants to marry a Chinese boy,
20:20 and that Chinese boy is an atheist,
20:23 he has no religious faith,
20:25 and his daughter is a Muslim,
20:27 and she is saying that
20:29 she will slowly convert her to Islam,
20:32 so I should marry her.
20:34 So, see,
20:36 the principle in our religion is that
20:39 no Muslim girl can marry anyone other than a Muslim boy,
20:45 this is the principle of religion,
20:47 it is a rule,
20:49 it is clearly mentioned in the Quran,
20:55 that the principle is that
20:57 no Muslim girl can marry a non-Muslim boy,
21:01 that is, a non-Muslim boy,
21:04 so she cannot marry,
21:07 unless that boy becomes a Muslim,
21:10 and the condition for becoming a Muslim is two things,
21:13 that he confesses from his heart,
21:15 that there is no one other than Allah,
21:19 he is the only one,
21:21 he should believe in Tauheed,
21:23 and that Sayyidina Muhammad (PBUH)
21:26 is the last Prophet and the last Messenger of Allah,
21:29 and of course,
21:30 all the other tenets of faith,
21:32 that he should believe in all the previous books,
21:35 he should believe in all the Messengers,
21:38 he should believe in the angels,
21:40 he should believe in the destiny,
21:42 he should believe in the Day of Judgment, etc.
21:44 So, if he has faith in all these things,
21:47 if he has this belief in him,
21:49 and if he confesses it,
21:51 and if he has the testimony of faith,
21:53 then this person will become a Muslim.
21:55 Now, if this person becomes a Muslim,
21:57 then your daughter can marry him.
22:00 Offering prayers,
22:03 those are the pillars of Islam,
22:06 that is, when a Muslim becomes a Muslim,
22:08 then it is his obligation,
22:09 he has to do it,
22:10 there is no choice,
22:11 but if he is not able to offer prayers,
22:14 then we,
22:15 unless he refuses,
22:17 that there is no prayer in the religion,
22:19 then he will be out of the circle of Islam,
22:22 but if someone does not offer prayers in laziness,
22:25 then he is committing a very big sin,
22:28 but we will consider it within the circle of Islam.
22:32 So, the summary is that,
22:35 that boy should at least,
22:37 the tenets of faith,
22:39 the requirements of faith,
22:41 the beliefs,
22:43 have faith in them,
22:45 and also confess with the tongue,
22:48 that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah,
22:51 and that Sayyidina Muhammad (PBUH) is Allah's servant,
22:54 Allah's Messenger,
22:55 Allah's last Messenger,
22:56 it is also necessary to say this with the tongue,
22:59 and that person will become a Muslim,
23:01 then your daughter can marry him,
23:03 but without him,
23:05 this marriage will not happen,
23:07 that marriage will not be valid,
23:09 even if the person is accepted,
23:11 has two witnesses,
23:12 everything is possible,
23:13 but in the rules of Islam,
23:15 this marriage will not be considered,
23:17 and if this girl lives with that boy,
23:20 then this marriage will not happen,
23:23 it is like an extra-marital,
23:25 out of marriage relationship,
23:28 and this boy and girl,
23:31 will be the followers of adultery,
23:33 so please,
23:35 do not think that,
23:37 that boy will become Muslim,
23:40 after marriage,
23:41 do not think that,
23:42 marriage will not happen,
23:43 first make him Muslim,
23:45 and this is a great virtue,
23:47 to make someone Muslim,
23:49 to make him understand religion,
23:51 to make him understand Allah's,
23:53 that the right religion,
23:55 on which we have faith,
23:56 that this is the right religion,
23:58 so someone should be invited to this right religion,
24:01 and he should be made Muslim,
24:03 and then he should be supported,
24:04 through marriage,
24:05 you have also written that,
24:07 my daughter is not strong in Islam,
24:09 so tell your daughter,
24:13 that you can do a great thing,
24:16 that you yourself are strong in Islam,
24:18 so that the person you want to marry,
24:21 becomes Muslim,
24:23 so teach him Islam,
24:25 but you will only be able to teach him Islam,
24:27 when you yourself,
24:29 become strong in Islam,
24:31 so this is a matter of encouraging,
24:33 that you encourage your daughter,
24:35 that she herself becomes strong in Islam,
24:37 that she herself gains knowledge of Islam,
24:39 that she herself does all the deeds,
24:41 that she herself does all the obligations,
24:43 and that she herself,
24:45 does all the categories of Islam,
24:47 that she herself does all the worships,
24:49 but she herself gains knowledge of society,
24:51 and of morals,
24:52 and that she herself becomes strong,
24:54 so that her husband,
24:56 who will become Muslim,
24:58 and when she gets married,
25:00 she can teach him Islam,
25:02 so this is a two in one,
25:04 to make her Muslim,
25:06 and to teach her Islam,
25:08 so may Allah make it easy for us,
25:10 and may Allah give us the understanding of religion,
25:12 and may Allah give us the ability to follow the religion,
25:15 you can keep sending your questions,
25:17 InshaAllah next week,
25:19 we will be back with a new topic,
25:21 and with the answers to your questions,
25:23 remember us in your prayers,
25:25 may Allah be with us all,
25:27 Jazakumullah Khairan,
25:29 Wa Akhiratuna 'Ala Al-Dawamana,
25:31 Wa Al-Hamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alamin,
25:33 Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
