00:05 (SIDE CONVERSATION)
00:11 Wow.
00:12 Now you get emotional, eh?
00:15 My last press conference.
00:17 (LAUGHTER)
00:20 I don't think I will.
00:26 But if...
00:29 (LAUGHTER)
00:32 I miss you, I just look at the picture, see Winnie, and it's gone.
00:36 (LAUGHTER)
00:38 Come on, come on.
00:39 That works without sound, I'm pretty sure.
00:42 Jürgen, how do you feel about what you've experienced today?
00:48 Because it's not a normal thing for a manager to get set up like that.
00:52 No, I don't think it's normal.
00:57 I knew for a long time our relationship was pretty special, I love that.
01:05 I really think that the people make the difference for this club.
01:09 These people are the superpower of this club,
01:13 these people keep the club going, these people push the club,
01:18 these people carry the club through difficult moments.
01:21 These people are the club.
01:23 So I was not... Obviously we had a really good time together,
01:28 nine years, nearly a decade, it was absolutely crazy.
01:32 Kids of the staff who were in the stadium today,
01:37 they don't know another manager of Liverpool, you see?
01:41 That's how it is, they just think I was always there and will always be there,
01:45 and now I'm gone.
01:47 I expected...
01:50 I was a bit afraid of a breakdown, I had one or two moments during the week
01:56 where it was not great, and during the game the last few minutes were tricky.
02:01 But the general feeling today was it felt for me more like a start than an end,
02:06 because I know the goodbyes are about me, but in general it's about the team,
02:10 and it's a wonderful team on the way.
02:13 It's a team who is ahead of schedule in their development,
02:20 so it's a tough league and you never know where you go and where you start again,
02:24 but it's not just a good football team.
02:26 I saw all the young players who saved our backsides a couple of times this year,
02:31 none of them besides Conor and Jorrell,
02:34 Jorrell played, Conor was on the bench,
02:36 and the other boys were all not involved, so they are there as well.
02:39 And that's what gave me the feeling, "OK, job done."
02:45 I love you all, I love all, and everything about the club.
02:55 But it's time for me to go, but it's not burning behind me,
03:02 so that gives me a good feeling.
03:04 It's not that you think, "Oh, come on, get out of here."
03:08 I know I can come back and I will come back,
03:10 and how I said after the game today, three hours ago when the game finished,
03:16 I'm a Liverpool supporter and I love that.
03:22 We've heard many stories this week about how you've impacted people in the city,
03:27 and we've also had that moment here at Anfield
03:30 where the whole of Anfield has seen your song for the last few minutes of the game.
03:34 I just wonder if there's anything like that, or anything you've heard in the last 24 hours,
03:39 even this last week, that's really impacted you?
03:42 Everything, everything impacted me, it was fantastic.
03:46 Like I said, the boys showed class, but it's difficult to deal with these kinds of things.
03:53 I could not use the exit of the training ground, I cannot go out there,
03:57 I would still stand there and sign autographs,
04:00 people show me so much love, it's fine, I cannot come to my house,
04:04 it's all nice, but it's really difficult to take.
04:12 It's so positive and I wish it would be for somebody else and I would be his best friend.
04:16 So that would be great, my best friend gets all this attention,
04:20 but I get all the attention, that's really tricky to take, to be honest.
04:23 I just try to get through this, and there will be a moment when nobody asks me anymore,
04:27 nobody looks at me anymore and I just go down for a few hours or days,
04:31 I don't know, we will see that.
04:33 But for the moment I have to function, I have to keep going and do that,
04:37 but it was today wonderful.
04:40 I want to thank everybody about it.
04:42 I love how the players said goodbye to the staff,
04:47 they said goodbye to colleagues, but the public, it's Jürgen Klopp, Jürgen Klopp, Jürgen Klopp.
04:52 But Jürgen Klopp is Pep Lindner, Jürgen Klopp is Peter Garwitz,
04:55 Jürgen Klopp is Vito Matos, Jürgen Klopp is John Achterberg,
04:58 Jack Robinson, Tore Tavarell, Jürgen Klopp is Andreas Gorman,
05:02 Andreas Schlumberger, Jürgen Klopp is so much more than Jürgen Klopp.
05:05 I alone would have done absolutely nothing.
05:08 And it's really nice how the people did that today,
05:12 because everybody felt really appreciated.
05:15 I don't have a lack of appreciation, obviously,
05:18 everybody shows me in the first moment and tells me, "I will miss you."
05:22 I'm happy that all the other guys got their attention as well.
05:26 It was an absolutely incredible and wonderful time, I love it.
05:32 My family was on the pitch, which was nice, really nice.
05:36 Now we will have a party, then we will come back next week for another event,
05:41 and I will come back occasionally, just as a supporter now.
05:46 And I am fine with that, honestly.
05:49 Maybe not for the first game of the season, when does the season start, by the way?
05:56 - Sunday. - Sorry?
05:57 Sunday, August.
05:59 Oh, no, I don't have time then.
06:01 LAUGHTER
06:03 That's early, wow.
06:06 Maybe after the second international break or something like that.
06:09 So, look, what can I say?
06:13 I decided there must be a difference.
06:19 If things go bad, always worse, worse, worse,
06:25 or if things go well and you go...
06:28 And I'm really happy that we could have done it that way.
06:34 Yeah.
06:36 Third, that's all right.
06:42 Karl.
06:44 What were your first days not to look for money to pay your fine?
06:48 I have no clue, where should I know that?
06:51 Packing? Probably.
06:54 Yeah, I think so, but I don't know.
06:57 I have enough things to do. Private life must be planned as well,
07:01 and I didn't plan anything yet because I was here.
07:04 And probably Ula will update me where we go and stuff like this,
07:10 but I follow happily.
07:13 But I have no clue what's coming.
07:15 I know we have tonight a party.
07:17 Right, yeah.
07:19 That's what I know.
07:21 A couple of quick ones. Tim.
07:23 Will you be able to have...
07:26 Give your family a proper break, because managers who do sit,
07:31 they're stepping back from football, football often drags them back...
07:34 Not me. No, no, I will work, I will work.
07:37 I just finished that job, it's difficult.
07:40 I don't know exactly why nobody believes that I probably will not be a manager again,
07:46 but I understand because obviously it seems to be a drug.
07:50 But it looks like, because everybody comes back
07:54 and it works until you're 70-something.
07:57 I always had the idea I will not do that, that long.
08:00 Other people are smarter, other people can do it in a different way,
08:04 I have to be all in, I have to be the spark, I have to be the energiser,
08:08 I have to be all these kinds of things, and I'm empty.
08:12 So that's it.
08:14 My biggest worry today was that Kutcher and Achterberg were coughing all the time next to me,
08:17 I thought I'd wake up tomorrow morning and I'm ill,
08:20 because the idiot is coughing in my direction.
08:22 So I have to start with the rest now, and we will see.
08:27 But it's not that I feel now already, and maybe the next opportunity...
08:31 You only have to look outside, which clubs are available and stuff like this,
08:35 so there will be opportunities, but I don't sit here and think,
08:39 "Maybe in India's time I'll take that."
08:42 In this moment, see you later.
08:45 On that note, well done. Thank you.
08:48 Thank you very much.
