00:00 The kit has been designed by Ben Sherman and will be worn by athletes taking part in the official
00:07 ceremonies between July 26th and August 11th for this summer's Paris Olympic Games. The revamped
00:14 design follows criticism of Bath-based design agency This-A-Way which redesigned the Union Jack
00:21 synonymous with Great Britain. Its colours were changed to pink and purple and the design was
00:27 taken back to the drawing board. This year's kit will feature a specially designed four-nation
00:32 floral motif, a central aspect for our creative expression which pays homage to the identities of
00:40 the four nations. The redesigned symbol representing Great Britain came under fire
00:45 after its colours were changed to refresh the design. Bath-based design agency This-A-Way,
00:51 charged with the design, said they needed to find a way to update the colour palette
00:56 ahead of this year's Paris Olympics.
