00:00 The Bureau of Fire Protection has now opened the latest fire that hit the car in the parking of Naia Terminal 3 this April.

00:08 Joseph Moro was there. Exclusive.

00:13 The highest heat index was increased on April 22 when this fire suddenly hit the open space parking of Naia Terminal 3.

00:21 It spread quickly and hit the cars and the road.

00:27 It was traced here between the two SUVs.

00:30 This is the open parking of Terminal 3.

00:32 It was found in this particular video in the outdoor bay parking of Naia Terminal 3 that day.

00:37 And the confirmed cause of the fire was a cigarette.

00:41 This is the result of the fire that was found in the investigation of the National Headquarters of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

00:48 Right there where the fire started, there were a lot of cigarettes that we got.

00:54 No other ignition source except the cigarette butts.

01:09 The BFP explained that due to the heat of the weather, strong winds and dry grass in the open space parking,

01:15 the small fire that came from the cigarette butts grew and burned the fuel hose of the black SUV.

01:22 It was still young. The wind was sucking it until it grew stronger.

01:28 It took about 20 to 25 minutes for it to burn until it burned out.

01:33 When it gripped, the fuel load added to the dried leaves.

01:39 It grew until the whole tank was pierced.

01:44 That's why the smoke came out strongly.

01:47 That's why the BFP considered the accident to be an accident and no case was recommended about it.

01:59 We tried to call the Philippine Skylanders International Inc. or PSI to run to the terminal but no one was authorized to speak to them.
