00:00 We're seeing a lot of financial abuse through technology. It's often too easy for a perpetrator
00:07 to fraudulently use a victim's details to take out a bank loan, to increase credit on
00:18 a credit card, to draw down on a mortgage. So technology in terms of surveillance as
00:28 well being able to hack in to her passwords and gaining access to government platforms.
00:35 We offer a range of services that focus on economic empowerment and financial independence
00:43 and essentially what we say is we work with women to realise the goals and ambitions that
00:51 they had often before finding themselves in a relationship that's been controlling and
00:58 harmful. So for some people that is to set up their own business. For many it's just
01:04 dealing with bad debt that's occurred due to the financial and economic abuse, setting
01:11 up new bank accounts and feeling confident to be able to pay the bills, keep the car
01:19 on the road and support the children.
