00:00 If you don't like the weather you've been having for the last few days, my apologies
00:05 because nothing significant is going to change any time soon.
00:08 A big high centred in the Bight is really dominating the picture.
00:12 It's a blocking high and it's stopped fronts from getting into the west.
00:15 You can see some high cloud out of this here but really the frontal system itself weakened
00:20 to a trough as it hit the mainland and the majority of it is all slipping to the south.
00:24 Here's that high.
00:25 It has crept ever so slightly eastwards in the last 24 hours and will continue very slowly
00:31 to move there later on today as well.
00:33 Still causing some warm gusty winds in the northwest, chilly winds in the southeast but
00:38 since it's over the southeastern mainland or getting there, it's helping to clear the
00:42 sky.
00:43 So things mostly drying up.
00:44 We'll just see the odd shower really restricted to the coast along parts of the east.
00:48 Tasmania's south and WA's southwest will get a little bit of a drop today as well as that
00:52 frontal system slips to the south.
00:54 And through the outlook, highs not going anywhere.
00:57 So essentially the weather's staying very, very stable.
01:00 More fronts coming into WA for the weekend.
01:02 We'll do the same as the last.
01:03 Weakening slipping to the south.
01:05 Weakening slipping to the south.
01:07 Most of us are looking at a very dry week ahead.
01:09 We'll just see some accumulations along the east coast with rainfall continuing.
01:14 Very hit and miss, very isolated but day on day on day.
01:17 That'll help the totals pick up, particularly for the northeast of Queensland.
01:20 Then you get that signal through the southwest of WA, southern parts of Tassie as those fronts
01:24 just clip them on the way through.
01:27 For most of us, if you can tell the difference for tomorrow from today, I'd be surprised.
01:31 We've got another fine 24 in Brisbane, another clear 20 for Sydney.
01:35 Canberra, frosty to start but then a sunny 16 again.
01:39 Another partly cloudy 15 for Melbourne.
01:40 Hobart, we'll see some more showers, also getting to 15.
01:43 Adelaide, a clear 18 degrees.
01:46 27 as Perth's warmth continues and up top Darwin, no change for you.
01:50 That's normal.
01:51 You've got a fine 32.
