Everton have endured an up and down season this time around, but their future after remaining in the Premier League certainly looks interesting as their agreed deal with the 777 partners is starting to fade away, they’ll be hoping more positive news can emerge about a new takeover.

00:00 Everton takeover has been up in the air, how are fans feeling?
00:26 Yeah, as we speak, it's not a good situation, let's put it that way.
00:32 We've seen more stuff come out about 7-7 partners, we've been taken to a New York court for a fraud case,
00:41 the airline bonzer that they own in Australia just sentenced to voluntary administration,
00:48 and then there's reports in Belgium that standardly aged players who are part of 7-7's portfolio haven't been paid for April.
00:56 And it doesn't look good. There's been a reason why the Premier League have held this takeover for so long,
01:04 because they haven't met the requirements and the needs, ultimately.
01:09 There's been a lot of scepticism from the start of 7-7-7, but a lot of fans were willing to give them a go.
01:18 As it's gone on and dragged on, more people have thought, are these the right people for us?
01:24 We've obviously loaned Everton circa £200 million, which throws a spanner in the works.
01:32 That being a loan to MSP Capital that wasn't paid back, that was extended.
01:39 It's not a good situation now. You've got the Everton Shareholders Association,
01:45 tell the fact that my share is a majority owned public plug, and the Everton Fan Advisory Board saying that this is sullying the club,
01:53 and its reputation, which it is. And has 7-7-7 got the funds to do it?
02:00 You'd say eight months on from a greener takeover. No, they haven't.
02:04 How long does it take Jim Ratcliffe's partial takeover of Man United to be passed?
02:09 Six, eight weeks, maybe, at maximum. There was never any doubt on that.
02:14 But there's been a lot of doubt right from the very start, to be honest with you, with all the 7-7 partners.
02:20 Everton are in a lot of debt. Maybe they're lucky that the Premier League's TV money, they've been getting an influx of cash to keep them going.
02:36 Obviously, the cash flow is not going to happen when there's no matches over the summer.
02:41 It is, as I say, it's a mess and a resolution is required as soon as possible to stop this from dragging on any longer.
02:51 So there's a lot going on along with the season. The closer it gets to summer, the more important it is to be resolved.
