00:00The transfer news is coming thick and fast for Everton. We've discussed how slow the
00:15business is moving but they have made an initial signing and move in this window which can
00:19be positive for Toffees fans. What can you tell us about that and how important is it
00:24to keep the likes of some of their top players like Gerard Brantway being probably the main
00:30one?
00:31Yeah, it's interesting because I think Everton fans will look going into this window thinking
00:36we're not expecting an awful lot, if I'm being brutally honest, because of what Sean's
00:41actually said, juggling sands and the desire out of football. Kevin Fowler saying we're
00:46going to have to sell players but we're not even in July yet and they've made the
00:51transfer signing. Tim Iriboyanam, I think I might have got that right, from Aston Villa,
00:57very much a signing that Everton need. They need players whose value is going to increase,
01:05who've got potential, who can be coach because Everton have had those years where they've
01:10signed players up for big money on big wages and they haven't got anything out of it ultimately
01:15and that's how they've ended up in this financial situation. They can obviously lose
01:19their job and go the other way. There's theories about profit and sustainability, both clubs
01:25helping each other out but it wouldn't surprise me if this lad was on Everton's radar as I
01:33say because that's the ilk of a player that Everton should be looking at. This season
01:38coming, we know Sean's IT system and he probably played too much again. He plays almost every
01:44week after his initial hip injury when he arrived and he rotates and maybe plays in
01:49the number 10 a little bit more. Might be a little bit more from him. I have a strong
01:53link with Jankuba Minter from Newcastle who has a really good season on loan at Feyenoord
01:59and it looks like Newcastle might have to sell for PSR reason of their own. As you say,
02:06I'll go on Gerard Bramfwaite, Everton have took a really hard stance on Gerard Bramfwaite
02:10and they've refused to be bullied. I think the reports were Manchester United, Shimra,
02:15Cliff and Kov sort of said Everton need a little bit of realism. Well, he was top class
02:20and obviously Everton saw that he was top and then maybe there might be a couple of
02:24other sayers. Andrew O'Neill has come out and said that he maybe wants to leave the
02:29club in summer. It wouldn't be absolutely disastrous. I don't think he's got a lot
02:34of potential, Andrew O'Neill, but does he quite fit a Sean Dyche system? Maybe not.
02:39He ended last season out of the starting line-up, so if Everton could maybe move him
02:46on and get a good price for him, it would help for PSR reason and maybe they can look
02:51at bolstering other areas to score, another striker potentially, another winger and a
02:57left-back as well I think would be on the list.
