00:03 - Okay, so this is a story I think everybody
00:04 should be interested in because we've all,
00:06 I think most of us have been to a Dave & Buster's before.
00:09 There was a report several months ago
00:11 that there would be the option to be able to bet
00:13 on things happening at Dave & Buster's.
00:16 What does that mean?
00:17 Skee-ball, pop a shot, people playing one-on-one.
00:20 Illinois' legislation is now coming into factor here.
00:23 So tell us, Pat, is this gonna be a reality?
00:27 - I mean, the company has come out and announced it.
00:30 And so I imagine if they haven't started rolling out,
00:33 I haven't been to a Dave & Buster's lately,
00:34 but if they start rolling it out,
00:37 sure, it could be happening.
00:39 But you're gonna see legislators like the one in Illinois,
00:42 which has passed a bill to outlaw it,
00:44 get through a committee that'll actually be debated
00:46 on the House floor today,
00:48 or scheduled to be anyway, to outlaw it.
00:50 There's only a couple of days left in the Illinois session,
00:53 and a lot of legislators aren't in session anymore
00:56 for the year.
00:56 So even if they get it off,
00:57 they might have it for a year or so,
00:59 but I think you're gonna see some regulators
01:01 and legislators kind of say,
01:03 "Whoa, this kind of is a really strange form of gambling."
01:07 It'll be a really interesting kind of case to watch
01:09 as we move forward on how it's treated
01:12 by regulators and legislators.
