00:00 Good afternoon to all of us, and to update on the current situation and the low pressure area that could be a storm.
00:09 We were able to observe the LPA at a distance of 680 kilometers from Davao City.
00:16 We can see in our satellite imagery that the circulation of the low pressure area is wide.
00:23 And where we are expecting the trough or the extension of this storm will be flooded with rain,
00:32 landslides and landslides, particularly here in Eastern Visayas and in the Caraga Region.
00:38 So, double attention to our fellowmen there in the face of flooding and landslides.
00:43 Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of our province,
00:49 the weather will generally be clear. But this afternoon and later tonight,
00:55 we may still experience some short-term rainfalls because it is an Easter lease.
01:02 We can monitor our thunderstorm advisory that our Regional Services Division released in our social media accounts.
01:11 Here is the latest track of the LPA that we are monitoring that could be a storm.
01:19 We can see that within 24 hours, it could develop or form as a storm.
01:26 This means that tomorrow morning, the category that we are monitoring, LPA, could be in the Tropical Depression.
01:35 Based on our forecast, it will continue to move north-westward until Saturday.
01:41 And it will move north-eastward by Sunday.
01:45 We still have the possibility, even though our current track is a bit far from our Eastern Visayas or Bricol Region area,
01:53 but we still have the possibility that it will get closer and we will have a landfall scenario.
02:01 Although we are not ruling out the possibility that it will landfall,
02:07 whether it will landfall or not, we expect that it will cause heavy rainfall,
02:14 particularly in the Bricol Region and in the Eastern Visayas.
02:18 That is why we are being careful and we are preparing our fellowmen for the possibility of flooding and landslides.
02:25 That is why they should continue to stay tuned to the updates that are coming out and communicate with their local government
02:33 to support their needs.
02:36 Now, we are expecting heavy rainfall due to this LPA that could be a storm.
02:43 Based on our forecast, it will continue to move north-westward.
02:48 By tomorrow, it could be in the Tropical Storm category.
02:52 But by Saturday or Sunday, it could be in the Tropical Storm category.
02:58 Before it leaves our area of responsibility, we expect that it will be stronger and reach the Severe Tropical Storm category.
03:09 And for the time being, we are still expecting that it will experience heavy rainfall, landslides and landslides in the Bricol Region.
03:21 Because of this LPA that we said could be a storm.
03:25 But here in Metro Manila and in other parts of Luzon, the weather will still be clear, especially in the morning until the evening.
03:35 But when it reaches the afternoon and evening, we are still expecting the occasional rainfall due to the Easter Leaves.
03:43 The temperature here in Metro Manila is 26 to 35 degrees Celsius.
03:49 In Baguio City, it is 18 to 24 degrees.
03:52 While it is still hot in Lawag and Taguigaraw, the highest temperature will reach 34 to 35 degrees Celsius.
04:00 In Tagaytay, it is 25 to 33 degrees.
04:03 And in Legazpi City, it is 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:07 We just crossed the Kalayan Islands and Puerto Princesa where the temperature will reach 27 to 34 degrees Celsius.
04:18 For our fellowmen in Cabizayan and Mindanao, especially in Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga and Dabao Region,
04:26 we are still expecting the occasional rainfall due to the Easter Leaves and the occasional snowfall due to the LPA that could be a storm.
04:38 So we are expecting rainfalls, so we are really taking care of our fellowmen, especially those who are in low-lying areas
04:45 because it could cause flooding and landslides.
04:50 While in Western Visayas and other parts of Mindanao, it will generally be a fair weather condition or partly cloudy
04:59 until the sky is still cloudy where it is still possible to have occasional rainfalls in the afternoon and evening.
05:08 We can monitor our thunderstorm advisory and heavy rainfall advisory in our social media accounts.
05:15 Our temperature tomorrow in Iloilo will be 28 to 33 degrees Celsius.
05:21 In Metro Cebu and Tacloban, the temperature will be partly lower due to the expected rainfall
05:26 where the highest temperature will be 29 to 30 degrees Celsius.
05:32 In the part of Cagayan de Oro, 26 to 32 degrees Celsius is the expected temperature tomorrow.
05:38 The same is true for the part of Dabao City.
05:40 In Zamboanga, the highest temperature will still be 33 degrees Celsius.
05:46 At the moment, we still do not have a gale warning in any town in our ocean.
05:52 But here in the eastern seaboards of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,
05:57 we are expecting a fair weather condition until the stormy sea because of the LPA that we mentioned.
06:04 But in other parts of our ocean, the storm will be mild until the storm is just moderate.
06:10 And for our 3-day weather outlook here in Luzon, particularly here in Metro Manila,
06:17 where by Sunday and Monday, we can see that the chances of heavy rainfall,
06:23 thunderstorms and storms are high because of the LPA that we mentioned that it is possible for a storm to occur.
06:29 The same is true for the part of Legazpi City, where the chances of rain are continuous until Monday.
06:36 And for the light to moderate to the times heavy, we are expecting rain in Legazpi City.
06:41 So, be extra careful for our fellow citizens there.
06:44 But for the part of Baguio City, we are not expecting the effects of the LPA that we mentioned.
06:50 So, the generally fair weather condition will continue where we are expecting rain only in the afternoon and night.
06:58 Our temperature in Metro Manila by Saturday is 26 to 34 degrees,
07:03 but by Sunday and Monday, it will be slightly lower because of the high chances of rain.
07:08 25 to 31 degrees Celsius is the expected temperature.
07:14 In Baguio City, the temperature is still 17 to 24 degrees, and in Legazpi City, 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.
07:24 In the part of Metro Cebu, we are expecting that it will experience scattered rain, thunderstorms and storms
07:34 because of the LPA that we mentioned that it is possible for a storm to occur.
07:38 The same is true for the part of Ilo City, where the southwesterly wind flow is possible for the LPA to be affected by a storm.
07:47 So, we are expecting that in Western Visayas, it will be rainy season.
07:52 But in Tacloban City, we are only seeing rain until Saturday,
07:58 and by Sunday and Monday, we are already seeing improving weather conditions in the part of Tacloban City or in Eastern Visayas.
08:06 In Metro Cebu, our temperature for the next three days is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
08:12 In Iloilo, it is 26 to 30 degrees, and in Tacloban, 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
08:19 In the part of Metro Davao, we are still expecting that by Saturday, the sky will still be cloudy with scattered rain, thunderstorms and storms.
08:30 But by Sunday and Monday, the weather will be clear, except for the chance of rain in the afternoon and evening.
08:38 In Cagayan de Oro and in Buanga City, we are not seeing any direct effect of the LPA that it is possible for a storm to occur.
08:48 But because we have a system that is monitoring, the chance of rain is high, especially in the afternoon and evening.
08:58 In Cagayan de Oro, the temperature is 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.
09:03 In Buanga City, it is 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.
09:07 And our day here in Metro Manila will be cloudy until 6.19 p.m.
09:12 And it will be sunny again tomorrow at 5.27 a.m.
