00:18 What I'm excited for fans to see in season 4
00:21 is David's journey as a priest who has a lot more going on
00:24 than just, like, confessionals, ceremonies,
00:26 and weddings and things of that nature.
00:28 He's tapping into the power that we saw from season 1,
00:31 the potential of him having this connection
00:33 with the other world, things that, if he hones in
00:35 and really focuses, he can do things because he has a gift.
00:38 And I think in season 4, we're gonna see that gift
00:40 come into fruition.
00:42 I'm not sure that fathering, per se,
00:44 is part of Leland's skill set.
00:47 I think fans will have fun
00:49 with Leland being in domestic distress.
00:53 Our hope very much is that Kristen and Leland's baby
00:56 will be a big deal in this fourth season.
00:58 One of the arcs of the year is exploring Kristen's
01:02 trying to get away from motherhood
01:05 that is then foisted upon her.
01:07 She will just try to stay centered
01:09 and focus on what is good and laugh it off.

01:14 I think laughing it off, that's probably really healthy.
01:16 There's a lot of demons seeing this season.
01:19 When I'm with a demon and no one else can see it,
01:22 they can either think she's out of her mind and crazy
01:25 or believe Sister Anna, doing what she says,
01:28 that I can see a demon and you can't.
01:30 I would say the dark side continues to explore Dr. Boggs.
01:34 Leland knows it. I mean, he's an evil genius.
01:37 He knows just how to get to me.
01:39 We begin season 4 with Cheryl
01:41 trying to reconcile with her daughter.
01:45 Her daughter is done.
01:47 Won't see her, won't let her see her grandchildren.
01:50 Kristen, do you have a minute?
01:52 She's lost her family but tries to convince Kristen
01:54 that she's trying to bring Leland down.
01:57 There's a lot of stuff that is happening for Ben this season
02:00 that starts to turn him a bit upside down.
02:02 There's real emotional stuff as well that happens this season.
02:05 The trauma of discovering secrets about his own family.
02:09 I just love the exploration of Ben
02:11 just really trying to figure out, like, what's going on with him.
02:14 It felt like when you had them together in an enclosed space,
02:18 you were very aware of the chemistry between the three actors.
02:21 We've relied on each other and we've learned things from each other
02:24 through each other's experiences.
02:26 And I think as we go into season 4,
02:28 we become a little more gray as characters
02:30 and we've sort of morphed in terms of our thought process.
02:33 If Kristen didn't have David and Ben
02:36 and she were still, as she started out as a forensic psychologist,
02:39 still just be talking to serial killers,
02:42 she probably wouldn't be in such a good place.
02:44 You know, she has really good friends.
02:46 These are really, really good friends.
02:47 She enjoys going to work.
02:49 And also there are still some romantic feelings for David.
02:53 Do I have feelings for you?
02:54 Yeah!
02:56 So even though there's this emotional connection,
02:59 sexual connection, between Kristen and David,
03:03 the Ben kind of is right there.
03:05 I mean, it's an odd threesome that you feel the lack of when one's missing.
03:10 David and Kristen have their own sort of weird, dysfunctional thing going on,
03:15 which Ben is not necessarily part of,
03:17 but I think he is a nice go-between between the two of them.
03:21 There's a little bit more coming together,
03:23 particularly in the latter half of the season,
03:26 and with their insight, they feel even more of a team.
03:30 We just up the stakes every season.
