Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan will soon explain more about the implementation of diesel subsidy rationalisation, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said that on Sunday (May 26) when asked to comment on Opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin's recent criticism regarding the lack of a timeline for the implementation of subsidy rationalisation for all fuels.

Addressing Hamzah's suggestion that Anwar should visit wet markets in the capital to observe the rising prices affecting the public, the Prime Minister asserted that he regularly checks market prices on a weekly basis, and suggested that Hamzah's comments were an attempt to deflect from allegations that his party supports wealthy tycoons and foreigners.
