00:00 Thanks for joining us, Chad Cota. We're here in Warrnambool. You've been picked to play for a Victorian touch rugby team. Can you tell us about that?
00:06 Basically, it's just like a comp that goes down. It's sponsored by DoorDash. So we're going down there for Cop Sava.
00:15 There'll be trainings throughout next weekend.
00:19 Throughout all those, I'll be just training for it.
00:21 Ready to play against Queensland, New South, Victoria, heaps of different teams.
00:28 What does it mean to you to represent your state?
00:30 It definitely feels really good.
00:33 It's a different experience than to state running and everything that I've done and state basketball.
00:38 So it's a different feeling.
00:40 Can you tell us about the role you'll play on the field?
00:43 I'm playing currently as a winger, but I'm hoping to be well-rounded all in the football.
00:47 What do you enjoy about touch footy?
00:50 I enjoy that it's not different from other players.
00:55 You can be the same player, but you play your own role in a way.
00:58 You have to play it. If you don't play your role, then it doesn't make you a good player in the team.
01:03 You're also a pretty handy sprinter. Can you tell us about your running?
01:06 I'm a 100-200 metre distance runner, so I'm pretty quick.
01:10 I run 11.95 in 100 metres and 200 metres I run a 24.95.
01:16 Congratulations. Good luck in Cop Sava.
01:19 Thank you very much.
