Matapos ang pag-agos ng lahar, problema ngayon ng mga residente malapit sa bulkang Kanlaon ang ligtas na mapagkukunan ng inuming tubig. Ayon sa PHIVOLCS, tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pagbuga ng usok ng bulkan kaya patuloy ang paalalang maging handa sakaling itaas ang Alert Level 3.
