00:00If it wasn't for Karen, definitely don't think Caitlin would be alive. Not a chance of it.
00:13Just the courage to give her, honestly, and the standard of courage to give her was just amazing.
00:18Caitlin had been going to the Liverpool with her partner and got out of the car at the airport,
00:24walked about 10 steps and then just dropped. With no eye, obviously, it was out of hospital, cardiac arrest.
00:32Well, I arrived at the airport and it was my daughter said, there's a girl collapsed over there.
00:37Assessed the situation and realised it was a lot more serious and called for help.
00:44I then maintained the airway and gave CPR, basically.
00:52Even after that, we've been in touch the next day, we were able to find Karen ourselves.
00:57We owe everything, don't we Caitlin?
01:00If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be here.
01:03If it wasn't for training, I wouldn't be here.
01:06You're given the opportunity to try and do your training.
01:09100% like anybody, not even anyone who just works in a hospital, anyone in general.
01:14CPR training is so vital. I do feel glad that I was able to help and that I had that training.
01:21I suppose I don't really look at it as me saving a life because I think, you know, it's team effort.
01:27I just couldn't thank her enough.
