Pagkamatay ng coral reef sa Escoda Shoal, posibleng dahil sa matinding init at climate change, ayon sa isang marine scientist

Transcript
00:00A Marine Scientist of the UP Institute of Biology said that there is not enough evidence to say that Chinese activities are the cause of the death of coral reefs in the Eskoda Shoals of the West Philippine Sea.
00:13Marine scientists who conducted a science mission there discovered that corals are continuously dying in the area.
00:21According to Marine Scientist Dr. Jonathan Antigamara, this is due to the intense heat of the time we are experiencing due to the rising climate change.
00:31They also called on the government to take concrete action for the conservation and restoration of coral reefs,
00:38as well as the continuous monitoring and strict surveillance of these.
00:45But since we did not see that China invaded or invaded, we are not 100% sure that there was an invasion or reclamation.
00:53All we know is that there is this growing pile of rubble.
00:59So what I will say again, we need to pay attention, we need to monitor.
