Four star wide receiver Dallas Wilson, an Oregon verbal commitment, is highly sought after by the Miami Hurricanes. Can Miami flip him from his pledge to the Ducks?
Transcript
00:00 >> What about receiver Dallas Wilson who's committed to Oregon, but
00:03 there's just been a lot of smoke about how hard Miami's trying to flip the four star
00:08 receiver.
00:09 >> Well, after watching him yet again at OT7, I understand why.
00:13 Six three guys that run by DBs are always coveted.
00:17 He's very special football player.
00:19 Miami, depending on who you talk to, and two people I trust very much that know his
00:24 recruitment, one thinks he's gonna go to Oregon, and
00:26 one's adamant that he's gonna go to Miami.
00:29 His recruitment is very difficult to follow.
00:31 So take it for what it's worth, but I know I'm gonna go see him this fall and
00:36 watch one of his practices and talk to him then.
00:39 Because I don't get the sense that his recruitment is anywhere near done.
00:43 Oregon commitment or not, I don't really consider him,
00:46 I consider him a lean to Oregon.
00:47 That's how I would put that.
00:49 Miami is doing a tremendous job of recruiting him.
00:51 He is arguably their top priority.
00:53 He's the perfect boundary receiver, which they need another for
00:57 this next season cuz the guy they just got from Houston, he's gonna play one year.
01:01 He's good, but you'll still just have Isaiah Horton that's a true boundary.
01:04 So you're talking about Dallas could come in and
01:07 be the number two guy just walking in the door.
01:09 And I'm sure that's very appealing.
01:10 So Miami's done a good job, just like with Jamie French.
01:14 Jamie said he's got great relationship with Kevin Beard.
01:16 He does a great job with Dallas too.
01:18 So they're gonna be in it till the end.
