Close to a hundred cars set off from Carew for a 45-mile Mid Summer Classic Car Run on Sunday, June 9.
The run was organised by Pete Sharpe along with the kind co-operation of The Plough Inn, Sageston for the start, Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, Eglwyswrw for a comfort break and Llys-y-Fran Country Park for the finish. The full route was approximately 45 miles.
This year's chosen charity was The British Heart Foundation. Donations collected on the day amounted to £508, although further pledges might increase this total.
Pete Sharpe extended grateful thanks to everyone who donated to the charity, as well as thanks for everyone who attended. He expressed hope that everyone had an enjoyable day on what will now become an annual event.
