00:00It has been almost two years since the water that was often taken by some residents of Bae and Los Baños, Laguna was complained of.

00:08If there is polluted water and there is a leak, they are constantly asked to clean it.

00:27But what if almost every day you have to go to the well or go to the ration shop?

00:35That is the life of some residents of Bae, Laguna.

00:38Shirley Kabaten of Barangay Dila said,

00:41if there is a leak in the tap, the water comes out dirty.

00:45It cannot be used for cooking or for bathing.

00:47There is a lot of water coming out.

00:50The water here is like that.

00:52Honey Rose Alcantara is afraid for her three children.

00:56She said that the tap water is hot.

00:58The tap water is weak.

01:01I am afraid that they will get sick because of the water.

01:08According to the LGU, 13 out of 15 barangays of Bae are affected by water problems.

01:14In Los Baños, there is usually no water supply in the tap.

01:18They are thankful that it rains every afternoon.

01:21They use rainwater for cooking or for bathing.

01:25We feel the pain in our body, in our body.

01:29We feel it in the night.

01:31If the tap is clean, we will get water from the tap.

01:34They also have a hard time bathing.

01:36We adjust the time of bathing.

02:21We get water from the well because sometimes the water we get is dirty.

02:29Residents call for attention of Laguna Water District Aquatic Resources Corporation or LARC.

02:37According to Manila Water Philippines Ventures,

02:40which is the new operator of LARC,

02:43they are against the complaint filed against LARC.

02:46They say that they will investigate the issues to form plans to improve the service.

02:52They also ask for understanding from the customers of LARC.

02:56We tried to get permission from the LGUs of Los Baños and Bae.

03:00We personally brought a letter to the Los Baños LGU.

03:03But according to the office of the mayor,

03:05it will take a week before the appointment of the mayor can be set.

03:09We also went to the LGU of Bae.

03:11But everyone is still busy and there is no statement yet.
