00:00Max, Rondelisar stage winner, which means you like the mountains. Are you happy with the race profile today?

00:07Yeah, for me it's a really nice profile. Some hard climbs from pretty much in the first hour already.

00:15So it will be a hard race from the start. And yeah, the uphill finish should suit me really well.

00:21But we will see. I was sick before and I didn't ride my bike for almost a week.

00:27I did some good training and I think I feel good. But we will see today how the legs are. For me no pressure.

00:34This is yesterday's top 10. Are you confident for today's stage?

00:39Yes, definitely. Yesterday was a test to see how the condition was.

00:45It went well, the team is strong and we were able to find ourselves in front.

00:49I feel good. Today we aim to have a good stage. It's an interesting finish, which delineates the general classification.

00:57So I count on doing well today.

01:01Having your contract for the world tour already, does it mean you don't have as much pressure as other climbers ahead of today's stage?

01:12I think so. For me having the contract really gives me rest. The pressure is now less for me.

01:19Because if I do not so good as I expected, next year is when it counts.

01:27But for sure having the contract also means you have certain expectations.

01:34I'm confident, I'm in a good shape. For the climb today I will see how far I can get. I think I can do a good job.

01:42Also if today is not my day, there are more stages for me that I can do a good result.

01:49You're a climber. You have climbed well in Italy at Giro d'Abruzzo with top champions already.

01:57Is today's stage suitable for you?

02:01Yes, today's stage is good for my type of rider. I think I can do a good stage.

02:11I'm feeling good in this Giro, so I will try to stay as much in front as possible.

02:20I think today could be a nice day.

02:25Looking at the champions in cycling now, like Pogacar, Vingegaard, Van Der Poel, the style of racing is to attack from very far out.

02:33Is that the way you want to become a rider as well, starting today?

02:39Yes, I think that style is very unique. It's entertaining also to watch.

02:47We will see. We have to also use all the guys in the team and we will see how we can play it.

02:54It's the final climb today. It's probably the hardest, so I think that's where it's decided.

03:01You've done a good time trial to start with. We have seen you very active in the climbs, at least the last climb yesterday.

03:10I did a great start of the Giro next day, so it's pretty good.
