Depuis le 1er mai 1904 et le premier match des Tricolores face à la Belgique à Bruxelles (3-3) devant 1.500 spectateurs, 905 joueurs ont joué sous le maillot de l'Equipe de France (pour 845 rencontres). En 2018, sept Bleus ont, à leur tour, connu leur première cap en A. Au total, Didier Deschamps a lancé 44 joueurs depuis sa prise de fonction à l'été 2012. Le sélectionneur communiquera sa prochaine liste mi-mars.
