00:38Sandro and Vincent, led the 126th Philippine Independence Day celebrations with a flag

00:43raising and wreath-laying ceremony at the Rizal Monument in Luneta Park.

00:47They were welcomed by uniformed Philippine Military Academy personnel and a marching

00:51parade.

00:52In his speech, President Marcos, Jr. highlighted the honor of being part of the Filipino heritage

00:58and the importance of each citizen's role in maintaining the nation's freedom.

01:02While in Vice President Sara Duterte's message, she emphasized giving more importance to the

01:06heroes of our nation who fought for independence.

01:28In Cavite, Senator Ramon Bong Rebilla, Jr., led the 126th Philippine Independence Day

01:50celebration at the historic Aguinaldo Shrine.

01:53He offered flowers at General Aguinaldo's tomb and participated in raising the Philippine

01:58flag.

01:59In his speech, Rebilla highlighted the importance of remembering the sacrifices of ancestors

02:03for independence and urged everyone to show more love for the country amid current challenges

02:09to its sovereignty.

02:10At the Bonifacio Monument, DILG Secretary Benjamin Abalos, Jr., led the celebration.

02:15In his address, he highlighted the accomplishments and sacrifices of our heroes, especially those

02:20who laid down their lives for the generations after them, to enjoy the freedoms and liberties

02:27In Pampanga, the Independence Day tradition featured visiting Pamintuan Mansion and the

02:31Museum of Philippine Social History in Angeles City.

02:34Mayor Carmelo Lazate, Jr., local officials, government employees, and police officers

02:39attended the event.

02:41They laid flowers at the mansion's marker, which was once a defense headquarters against

02:45the Americans, and recognized modern heroes like the Bureau of Fire Protection and Boy

02:50Scouts for their quality service to the city.

02:52San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora led the Independence Day flag-raising ceremony in

02:56the city.

02:57Followed, Mayor Zamora expressed excitement for this year's celebration, highlighting

03:02the Chief Justice's presence as a testament to recognizing San Juan's sacrifices for freedom.
