00:00Second stage win, another bunch sprint, but a different one

00:04What has been the hardest part? What was the hardest to make it a bunch sprint?

00:08Yeah, first the most important was to make a bunch sprint, not a breakaway victory

00:13So with the team we managed to control the whole day

00:16It was quite hard at the end with the attack of a little trick rider

00:19but at the end we managed to do a bunch sprint and then it was quite really nervous because

00:26it was not a really hard day so everybody was really nervous and with a lot of energy

00:35but at 1k to go we are still four riders from the team for the lead out

00:40We did it very well and at the end a victory with the team so it's very nice

00:46There was a headwind too, was the key to wait for the right moment?

00:50Yeah, it was very important to wait till the last moment to start the sprint

00:56I was feeling very good so when everybody started to slow down a bit I started directly

01:04and I didn't saw the sprint already but I was very happy about it

01:09Second stage win means a lot more points for the points classification

01:14Yeah, I also did the intermediate sprint to have more advantage and now a second win

01:21so now bring the red jersey at home will be a goal normally

01:26and possibly a third win tomorrow

01:29Yeah, tomorrow why not? I also have a very good lead out man with me, Andrea Aracani

01:35so maybe we will switch the role to give him a chance also

01:40He's still not world tour so he need to gain some points to turn professional

01:45Was it nervous towards the end because there were many attacks?

01:50No, just the sprinters, they have a crazy mind, nothing more

01:57Your teammates tried to do the sprint but no top 10, are you guys disappointed?

02:07Yeah, we wanted to go for a sprint with Matisse but it wasn't going like we planned

02:14because the wind was on the wrong side but the most important thing is that I keep the jersey

02:45Was it worrying?

02:46Yeah, unfortunately at 40 from the start I fell with many other guys

02:52we were more or less in the middle of the group and I fell in front so it was an inevitable fall

02:58I got up as fast as I could and we formed a group with the men of Tudor

03:06and slowly, kilometer by kilometer, we went under the group but it wasn't a good moment

03:15Tomorrow, how do you see it?

03:16Tomorrow I hope it will be a calmer day than today

03:19the altimetry is completely flat and I think there will be a comeback

03:25probably it will be a calmer day
