00:00Today is the day. I'm very much impressed. All the way from the airport, I visited the headquarters of the Nyanza, the regional headquarters, where we have got the regional commander.
00:14I've held discussions with the county commanders, the sub-county police commanders, on matters touching on security of this area.
00:25I'm happy with what I've been told by the officers, that the officers are working very, very closely with the people of this area.
00:34Also, the people are willingly providing information that are assisting on matters ensuring that we have adequate security in this area.
00:46Also, in our agenda is to open this magnificent new police station, Lagumu Police Station. It has been done through the NGCDF funds.
01:02And we really, really appreciate our Mwachimiwa Hon Chavir. Thank you so much. We appreciate you.
01:10It shows that the partnership between the police and the people can actually be very, very good.
01:19I am sure and I'm happy to note that our officers will be delivering services in a decent place.
01:27And even the people of this area will actually be bringing their issues to a place that is decent enough to be called a police station.
01:38I would like to continue doing that, even in other areas.
01:44I've also visited the Kasa County Sub-County Headquarters, which is also coming up very well.
01:53We are going to have a very, very beautiful sub-county police headquarters whereby the OCS will be housed there, the OCPD will be housed there.
02:02This year, and every other critical person on matters of policing will be housed in that upcoming building.
02:11God willing, we will be back here in December so that we can also be able to open the same to the public.
02:18Otherwise, we are going to continue with our agenda of hosting other police stations.
02:25We are also having discussions with our police officers, encouraging them to continue discharging the activities that they have been doing.
02:32We are impressed and happy.
02:34And thank you.
