00:00In the last six months we've had 1,420 dog incidents across Australia, that's about 55 a week or 11 per day that our people are exposed to and we need to get that number down.
00:12About a third of the dog attacks to our people occur at the front door, so as a customer opens the door to receive the parcel the dog will often shoot through and attack.
00:24About 15% are between the front door and the front gate, so as we're either entering or leaving the property.
00:2915% are the traditional putting your hand over to put a letter in the letterbox and the dogs often will jump up, often unseen by our people and bite.
00:39And then about a third are on the street about half the time with an owner present and half the time with just roaming dogs or dogs from next door.
00:46A range of physical and psychological injuries, so physical lacerations, bites, scratches and also physical injuries from being knocked off their vehicles, their pushbikes, their motorbikes, their EDVs.
