00:00He was basically unconscious. He had no life to him at all.
00:07The thermometer actually doesn't register yet his body temperature.
00:11Each moment was critical to his survival.
00:16Really just getting that temperature slowly back up so the system doesn't go into shock.
00:21So they started with the hair dryers and they put the little booties on his feet.
00:31And then put a blanket over him.
00:37It was our sense trying to revive him and get him to come back to life.
01:01He's so good, buddy.
01:21It had been so long since he had had food and water.
01:30He only weighed 37 pounds.
01:35Didn't even have the strength to stand.
01:37And so they kind of made a little bed for him in our treatment area.
01:41After he was treated, he stayed in our vet clinic for several weeks.
02:01Wanted to make sure he was close by to monitor him over time.
02:11Horton is always so excited to see everyone.
02:18Getting him on the walks.
02:22And just get the love from our staff and those volunteers that were caring for him.
02:30He's actually gained six pounds since he came in.
02:39He's at a healthy weight and they made him available for adoption.
03:01Horton, we're so excited for you, buddy.
03:09Congratulations, guys.
03:13Bye!
