00:00experience tonight here we go then Granada there they are in their first
00:04ever European campaign what a brilliant night for those players just to remind
00:08you 8 million euro to put this side together this evening congratulations
00:12to them for getting this far but now in their first ever European quarterfinal
00:15they take on a team who are playing in their 27th the hugely experienced
00:21Manchester United up against Granada in the company of Robin Savage and Ian
00:25Dark evening evening to you Jake and good evening everybody as well Manchester
00:31United will have looked at the route that little Granada took to this
00:36quarterfinal and have noticed that they knocked out Napoli and that should be
00:40warning enough that nothing could be taken for granted even though Manchester
00:45United are the favorites to win the Europa League this season
00:52in normal times this will be a wonderful day out for Manchester United's fans in
00:57this splendid city in sunny southern Spain set two and a half thousand feet
01:02up at the foot of these Sierra Nevada mountains thousands visit this city
01:08every year to see the walled Alhambra Palace which is a World Heritage site
01:14but this year of course you can't even go to Crystal Palace such as life just
01:21at the moment hopefully for not too much longer the teams are on their way
01:24here
01:29Granada have had a bit of a dip in form maybe because they're in the middle of a
01:34table in La Liga and their minds have been on this big night the biggest night
01:40really in their modern history they did reach the Spanish Cup final but that was
01:45way back in 1959 most of their existence has been in the lower
01:52divisions in Spain such a contrast of course to Manchester United
02:01the scene is the splendidly set Estadio Nuevo Los Cormenas which normally
02:08holds 19,000 fans
02:46I've certainly put on a show here even in an empty stadium and manic scenes
02:53outside just about all the fans who would have come have been gathering in
02:57the streets they've been mobbing the coaches not much social distancing going
03:02on but there you are only three of this Granada team cost a fee many graduates
03:07from the lower divisions they do have some recognizable names though like the
03:11experts man Roberto Soldado whose joint top scorer he's 35 now also Kennedy
03:17still officially a Chelsea player and the former French international Maxime
03:21gone along who won a couple of his caps for France alongside Paul Pogba
03:30referee is Portugal's Artur Diaz
03:42Manchester United lost one of the last 16 games in all competitions and Oleg
03:47Olesov's big decision was who to play in goal while David De Gea is back in
03:52place of Dean Henderson who's had the jersey for the last seven games Marcus
03:56Rashford starts despite a nagging ankle injury there are two other changes from
04:01the win over Brighton Scott McTominay and Daniel James replacing Fred and
04:07Edinson Gavani but it's the usual force first 11 defense interesting name on
04:16that Manchester United bench Anthony Elanga 18 years of age yet to make his
04:21debut he's got eight goals for the under-23 side this season and is
04:25United's young player of the year there is Roberto Soldado's first fans will
04:31remember him Paul Pogba match winner in Milan I mentioned young Elanga on the
04:38bench of course you'll know him well Robbie Savage because he plays with your
04:42son Charlie who's just got his first professional contract at Manchester
04:46United congratulations yeah thank you it's not me it's my son's hard work he's
04:51put in over the years with his coaches so delighted for him and you know Elanga
04:56he's very direct and he's got good pace and it deserves an opportunity
05:03Manchester United players taking the knee before kickoff to send out the
05:10anti-racism message quarterfinals of the Europa League first leg in Spain and of
05:18course Manchester United have already performed handsomely in Spain in this
05:22competition knocking four goals but Raul Sosiedad who have gone on to win the
05:27Copa del Rey
05:30early challenge coming in straight away from Mena there is Kennedy with an early
05:37ball in fast start from Granada backed in again by Neva he's just come back
05:46into the Granada side after missing recent games with injuries started like
05:52a whirlwind there didn't they great start you know on that left-hand side
05:55Kennedy with the ball in good defending from Harry Maguire but a real positive
05:58start but you mentioned when United won 4-0 against Real Sociedad that first
06:04leg played on the counter attack they were devastating space in behind I'm not
06:08sure Granada will allow that much space in behind their back line this evening
06:15they've been waiting for this game no question about it Granada they were
06:22beaten 3-0 at home by Villarreal at the weekend but they're in no problems again
06:27having come up a couple of seasons ago seventh for last season and they're in
06:33ninth place this time and there's Diego Martinez who has a almost crazy boyish
06:38enthusiasm about the game he has a mental fouls on every player he loves
06:43doing football quizzes and he's performed wonders really taking this
06:48club into the quarterfinals of Europe all the way from the Spanish second
06:52division I think they've played more games than any other side in the top
06:56leagues in Europe Ian because they started so early up as you say finishing
07:00that seventh position in La Liga
07:04well he gonna so sure I was quoted a few weeks ago he's saying that trophies
07:10might be just a bit of an ego thing I think probably a bit too much has been
07:15made of that he obviously knows the value of silverware and Manchester
07:20United
07:23haven't won any in the last three seasons will they do it this time around
07:29handily placed in the Premier League second and nine points clear of fifth
07:33place maybe crucially this is Vallejo sometimes playing full-back but in
07:41central defense tonight for the Spanish side Kennedy to play it in again he once
07:46scored after 39 seconds for Chelsea at Norwich City I remember one day like he
07:54wanted to do something a bit similar today the way he started the game this
07:59is Diaz knocking it forward this time
08:04Harry Maguire and then forward by Luke Shaw who won that England recall and got
08:12his first cap for two and a half years in Albania no I like to see Pope in the
08:17position he's playing in there you know next to McTominay is a number six his
08:21passing ability you know with a pace of Rashford and James Greenwood dropping
08:25deep you know as a false nine at times but Pope was passing ability from that
08:31position could be key tonight for Manchester United his square pass has
08:37come up from the third division that's the story with a lot of these players
08:41neighbors deep ball in
08:50in the last couple of rounds Granada beat Napoli 2-0 here and they beat Mulder
08:552-0 in the next round and only gonna so sure of course former boss of Mulder was
09:00able to do a few questions with his old club about what Granada might be about
09:06Diaz with the cross Kennedy to try to keep it alive
09:13and then popper loping forward Rashford a lot of room for him out on that side
09:23the view to aim at as well
09:27there's a bit of a doubt for the game with a an ankle injury McTominay now
09:31looking to bend one towards the far post was made by Duarte
09:41bar me night looks a lovely surface as well
09:48Fernandez
09:53you
09:58to see Rashford there you're just crouching down it's a bit of pain Ian
10:05well we had that didn't we in one of the previous rounds where he was feeling his
10:10ankle in the warm-up before the game and didn't last too long in it there's been
10:18a little bit of a problem remember he wasn't part of the last England squad
10:23because of injury but they've obviously looked at it and they've decided he's
10:28okay to start tonight he's Greenwood laying it inside towards Fernandez long
10:34range effort from popper is charged down
10:38and air up he's actually on loan from Manchester City who knew that they
10:49signed him in 2016 and he's been loaned out a few times including to the United
10:54States and New York City FC
10:58you
11:07I'm on Toro we have a somebody's got into the ground anyway and it's a warm
11:18enough night
11:28obviously the security men turned a bit of a blind eye to that doesn't look
11:40happy Rassford does he in no no he doesn't the little grimace you you pick
11:45that up Robbie and it's early in the game as well
11:54we are tasked with the little layoff and Manchester United are gonna get the
12:02free kick that
12:10for Diaz winning the during the captain's armband
12:17Wambasaka
12:22dispossessed in midfield by Kennedy who's gone down re-writhing and it early
12:30yellow card for Paul Pogba
12:33Oh
12:44didn't see Kenny busy Paul Pogba
12:48catches him on the left ankle to the yellow card 83 minutes to avoid getting
12:56another one not ideal you can see how eager Granada are about this game this
13:07massive assignment they are surprise quarter-finalists that's for certain
13:13they got 11 points though in the group they're playing their 14th game of the
13:17competition that's Kennedy on the floor well known to Chelsea and Newcastle
13:24United fans he had a long spell with Newcastle United as well
13:34still feeling that by the look of it too
13:41he did score against Napoli here that is an eye-catching win Granada scored
13:47against them
13:49and how Montoro lining up the free kick from fully 35 yards
14:07and in behind towards soldado 35 years of age now the former Tottenham Hotspur
14:14man six years since he ended that well less than stellar spell at White Hart
14:21Lane
14:23Oh
14:42signed in the app and reveal us the last days
14:48I don't find one for a DS to play it back again and Toro to played in and
14:53that will be just a bit of a easy fielding practice for the restored
14:58David De Gea well work though there from Granada in good set piece but the space
15:04Paul cross
15:0727th European quarterfinal this for Manchester United they've advanced from
15:1917 of them inside by James
15:29McTominay no thread in that midfield this time he's usually in the starting
15:35lineup recently I think more positive though from only gonna so scared playing
15:40you know popper in there will be better going forward got a better range of
15:44passing registered okay this season for Manchester United I just think it's more
15:50expansive with popper as a six next to McTominay with Fernandez is that number
15:56ten picked up by popper Rashford looking to turn felt he was found the referee
16:03agrees with that
16:1219 goals this season for Marcus Rashford he gets four more it will be his best
16:18ever scoring season
16:22McGuire
16:25sure lost possession soldata with a little layup towards Kennedy who's over
16:33that little knock he took in the proper incident well read there from one
16:38berserker ever-present and the Europa League for Manchester United this season
16:42started all ten games
16:46determined to put pressure on the ball at every opportunity you can see that
16:57Granada
17:03sure
17:08with seven goals this season from midfield good return
17:14popper looking to just bend one into the channel yeah I think what's on a
17:19wonderful season in Manchester United is a leader you know I'm led to believe he
17:25he's a lead on the training pitch as well not just with the first team but
17:29the younger members of Manchester United regularly speak to the youngsters which
17:35is good isn't it very good you know I mean when I was there you know in
17:38schools he will you know when the senior players used to speak to us really
17:43encourage it helps you he's gone along former Leon and Roma player who won
17:51eight caps for France it's one of the few who've cost a fee at Granada in his
17:56case four million pounds most of this team either on free transfers or being
18:03loaned to the club
18:06as Jack Humphrey was telling you total cost of the team is eight million euros
18:18you can see when you know I've got comfortable possession how deep that
18:23Granada back line is not allowing the space in behind it obviously what's that
18:28rail so should that first leg where United absolutely destroyed them on the
18:34counter-attack
18:39Lindelof on pre-match media duties she performed with some aplomb
18:47James is seeing a lot more action in the second half of the season and has come
18:52up with a few goals as well Lamba Saka looking to keep it alive
19:05it's obvious looking at the La Liga table that Granada are no mugs last
19:15season and their seventh last year ninth this time around despite just fading a
19:22little bit from a great start to the season
19:27played in by Greenwood towards the back post McGuire is waiting there popper
19:32hooks it forward yeah I thought popper when he come on against AC Milan was a
19:41difference and we've got that golden he was influential on that left-hand side
19:45change the game didn't he because they were poor in that first half by the
19:50admission of the players as well popper gave them that command and got the
19:56crucial goal which was needed because it was 1-1 at Old Trafford Milan could
20:05have gone through on that away goal they got in the last minute of that tie
20:12look at Bruno Fernandes there just near the referee that position is great for
20:16him there in between the lines just needs him to try and fire the ball if
20:21you can get a midfielder to pass between the lines we've seen the ball from
20:24Jorginho last night for for Mount it's a fantastic ball from a midfield player
20:29popper can do that McTominay can you can see Fernandes asking for that ball
20:33telling his teammates he is demanding in a good way isn't he Bruno Fernandes
20:42maybe drags the other players up and well his statistics underline his
20:48quality involved in 31 goals either scoring them or with assists this season
20:54in 46 appearances that'll do
21:04he is inside helped on by Montoro
21:18back to Harry Maguire score of that spectacular winner for England against
21:25Poland
21:30sure now
21:33James fantastic header for Wales the winner what a goal it was wasn't it a
21:48vital three points for Wales against the Czech Republic
21:55I think any centre forward would have been happy with that header he put away
21:58there what a ball it was open bail wasn't it yeah
22:03now the smallest man on the pitch to great header
22:12the caboona Fernandes coming deep there look demanding the ball get a bit
22:16frustrated not getting that ball as a tent to stay up there no need to come
22:21back and get the ball to send the house let me tell me popper do that he's
22:25trying to find space look he's getting a bit frustrated Fernandes yeah no
22:30supply line to him yet here he is now though we're going to find that ball for
22:35Greenwood
22:40well dealt with by neighbor Kennedy thinks he was fouled the referee doesn't
22:46you
22:52the second to Greenwood who has scored in his last two appearances starting to
22:58just show the form we saw quite a bit from him last season
23:06United are going to get the free kick and Alice challenge
23:16yeah it was a foul studies ground but pushed Fernandes that was one earlier
23:38I think if Rashford's standing over the ball it'll be a shot from that distance
23:43with his technique it was Fernandes I think it'll be more of a in swinging
23:49cross
23:55looks like it is going to be rash but doesn't it
24:02he's gonna hit one of those with the laces just dipping in front of the
24:05goalkeeper
24:08we'll try to anyway
24:12never dipping quick enough was it
24:19seems to be all right after that early grimace doesn't he yeah he doesn't I'm
24:24not seen him score many of those I think that was one of Stanford bridge a few
24:28years back with that technique
24:34always looks extremely relaxed about everything doesn't he
24:38so sure smiled his way through the pre-match interviews
24:45there are worse places to come and Granada that's for certain
25:00good pressure here high pressure from Granada trying to make this ball away
25:04Lindelof having to work at it
25:07a ball from Wan-Bissaka
25:11competition this year's got the most tackles the most interceptions the most
25:15blocks great pass there
25:21Rashford missed out there could be something on here for Granada if they
25:25get this right Cuertas
25:30Lindelof was able to get it away the ball was given away in the middle of the
25:34pitch by United there
25:41Rashford was when he was caught a bit late
25:51it was a foul
25:55first-ever European campaign this for Granada
26:06very nearly went out of business back in 2009 huge financial problems
26:24back
26:32McTominay
26:37Mason Greenwood
26:40now McGuire plenty forward here for Manchester United
26:53McGuire carried on with his run Victor Diaz got it away but not for long
26:58it's coming back again Fernandez he's beginning to turn the screw a little
27:04bit Manchester United here
27:08I think it's these type of games in where you've got a team good defensively
27:14stay in their shape bring United on to them don't think this suits Manchester
27:19United I think what what United like is when a team goes at them so they can
27:23have the space and behind you see in at the at the Etihad you know when they
27:28beat Man City the scene against Real Sociedad when teams want to go towards
27:32at all Manchester United I think games like this where it's tight where there's
27:37no space between the lines no space in behind where United have to break the
27:41team down I think that's where they struggle most
27:45going along this challenge was okay according to the referee it was only
27:50tries to get it back from Manchester United but might be coming back again
27:55play a test it was who picked it up
28:07this is the challenge on Bruno Fernandez from gone wrong looks like a
28:23free kick to me I thought it was going on right foot
28:30eight caps he won for France couple of them with Paul Pogba you just want to
28:36see more intensity in Manchester United's passing and move the ball
28:40quicker you know try and get the ball into Fernandez as a ten early just
28:46getting a little bit frustrated as we've mentioned Bruno Fernandez goals have
28:53dried up a little bit for Manchester United just recently they've only scored
28:57eight in their last nine matches defense has been good though hardly let any in
29:03not too many anyway here's McGuire
29:11Tom and I that's a good ball Greenwood to feed it into Fernandez not quite that
29:17time very organized back there early on anyway Granada whether the game will get
29:21a bit more stretch later we'll see gone along here trying to get where TAS away
29:26they haven't managed to get soldado into the game at all as yet you mentioned
29:31that pass from McTominay that's a great pass from a midfield player
29:39there's a foul from Herrera in the back of McTominay
29:46Herrera who's a Venezuelan international but of course all the South American
29:50World Cup qualifiers were off recently because of the pandemic so no global
29:56traveling for him
30:01Luke Shaw having such a great season
30:13one per second was part of that England equation with several contenders for the
30:19right-back position
30:21they want a free-kick Granada there they're not getting one but a player
30:32down and Fernandez decides he will knock the ball out of play
30:38so you got it out of overstretched a little more than anything to have a look
30:50at that
30:58it's come up with eight goals from midfield this Herrera this season a
31:02couple of them in this European campaign
31:08once again we have to bring you the coverage just at the moment from the
31:18television pictures which has robbed Robbie Savage of his chance to visit the
31:22Alhambra Palace join all the tourists probably not open at the moment
31:30blank look from Robbie
31:40McTominay
31:43Rashford has controlled that well and then Fernandez off the outside of the
31:49boot and it's bent towards the far corner there wasn't bending quick enough
31:55Rashford a good ball from McTominay once again looking forward great first
32:01touch from Rashford the ball comes back to him looking for that far corner just
32:10slow from Manchester though he doesn't it I'm being dynamic at all tonight you
32:15got to give Granada credit though they've got their shape right not
32:20allowing that space for the wide players James and Rashford to run into good
32:25distances between the lines defensively
32:32I think very clear-cut created at all so far by either side maybe quite good as
32:41far as Granada are concerned really giving a foothold in the game Kennedy
32:46here tried the volley didn't really sit down for that
32:55positive though just thought he was gonna try and hit it first time on the
33:03volley let it bounce just there look thought you're gonna hit it no waited
33:09very tight angle one of his Newcastle goals was at Old Trafford it wasn't a
33:183-2 defeat for Newcastle on that occasion so there's a bit of history
33:24there
33:30alive Rashford cutting inside looking just to get a half a yard of space
33:39McGuire was strong James
33:46neither got caught there when James tried to let the shot go and he's the
33:50player down
33:55on the back of the hill there's a good piece of work actually because James was
34:01looking to let a bit of a thunderbolt go I think
34:11when he just back from injury as well
34:24yeah they've given the ball back in the end there was a I think Granada was
34:36saying we should have had the ball from that throw-in and there was a you could
34:40hear all the kerfuffle going on on the sidelines about the perceived injustice
34:44and in the end United gave Granada the ball back
34:51yeah all sorted no problem
35:01he's looking to keep it alive and Lindelof doing just enough there
35:06this Saldardo attacking it Saldardo's got 11 goals this season even at this
35:12veteran stage of his career it just wouldn't if the ball went out there
35:16don't think it did very tight angle for Saldardo very tight wasn't it doesn't
35:25matter Saldardo hitting the side netting and then Rashford as we come back to the
35:33action is there to pounce for Manchester United he's caught out the defense and
35:39he caught out the television director in Spain as well but Manchester United have
35:46the lead and a way goal as well and that will definitely set the United down
35:54Rashford goes to 20 for the season we'll get a better look at it now
36:03Lindelof on the ball is it what's the run of Rashford it's a wonderful pass
36:10great run and what about that for a touch magnificent the run the pass look
36:19at the goalkeeper there and that the first touch is sensational and then the
36:24finish past the goalkeeper direct play from Manchester United the ball from
36:28Lindelof but it was the run of Rashford staying on side the first touch the away
36:36goal 1-0 great assist wasn't it from Victor Lindelof with the pass which we
36:47of course weren't able to show you originally apologies for that we are
36:54working from the pictures from the Spanish director Saldardo with a hint of
36:58an opportunity there just lost the ball at the vital moment that might have been
37:03something for Granada gone alive it will be penalized for that challenge
37:10you look at that goal it was very similar to the goal Real Madrid scored
37:13against Liverpool wasn't it the pass from Toni Kroos direct good run good
37:19ball still a lot to do for Rashford there wasn't there
37:24brilliant touch wasn't it fantastic touch
37:33it's what his first goal since February against Brighton at the weekend he's
37:36followed that up here with a vital away goal in Europe
37:42and here's Lindelof again
37:49it's one to the show reel isn't it for him that pass it's that run from outside
37:54to in inside the fullback you know with his pace but it was all about the first
38:02touch
38:05good work again from the Swedish international
38:13please piece of plate Fernandez James not many would have got to that
38:19but he does have that Olympian speed say what what great ball on the run as well
38:33I think any 100m sprinter would have been happy with that
38:38gone along to Kennedy
38:43free-kick goes the way of the Spanish club that's probably the first time this
38:49even though he in that there was space in behind to run into the Granada were
38:53holding quite a high line
38:56I'm pretty sure all the Granada fans who were thronging the streets of probably
39:02watching this on portable screens and making their presence pretty well felt
39:10Maxine gone along again
39:14Rashford
39:18Greenwood
39:22Greenwood
39:26now Fernandez
39:34first goal just changes the whole feel of this doesn't it yeah it could open up
39:39now for Manchester United Granada that's in a second half we'll try and look for
39:44the goal and that allow more space for Manchester United Greenwood
39:51neither got a challenge in but Granada struggling to hold on to the ball keeps
39:55coming back again and from a long range for an open and is looking to enter his
40:0123 goal tally for the season
40:11took a deflection didn't it corner
40:16if Kennedy catch in Rashford and the Achilles there just watch that
40:23yeah
40:38James
40:42yeah just needed more whip on it Danny Daniel James and that right-hand side he
40:47knew as well
40:54I give Manchester United credit that really was a very fast piece of thinking
41:01Lindelof looked up and played it almost like a quarterback pick the pass
41:06Rashford making that running behind control goal and no pressure on the ball
41:12though from any Granada players just the center half the balance should have
41:17dropped in two or three more yards I think real Ferdinand was highlighting
41:22that on the Champions League night fenders just dropping no pressure on the
41:28ball
41:32gone along again biting him with the challenge he plays just about every game
41:37for Granada
41:48sure was pressured out of it and the free kick will go Granada's way a
41:53reminder we've got Fulham against Wolves tomorrow night vital one for Fulham down
41:57at the bottom have to start winning don't they 730 BT Sport 1 HD from Craven
42:02Cottage then Saturday lunchtime in our usual slot Manchester City champions
42:07elect I think we have to say I don't know Leeds United that could be a tasty
42:10one from 1130 and on Sunday evening from 630 Shefford United against Arsenal
42:18all from the Premier League coming up this weekend
42:25Curtis with the layoff don't know how to help it forward can it be
42:33nice football neighbor played it back in again
42:40but a lot of those red and white hoops shirts forward here now this time Diaz
42:46plays it in
42:50couldn't quite bring it under control playing higher up the pitch here now
42:54Granada
43:00Diaz just across the face of goal and that was the best period of football
43:05that Granada produced so far have you seen the three Granada players go
43:10towards that near post nobody peeled round the back nobody attacked the
43:14center of goal the three players got attracted to that near post Rashford now
43:22in 20 plus goals in two consecutive seasons
43:30which is a credit really isn't it to all a connoisseur 20 now 22 last season
43:38also his assist this season playing for Dominic left-hand side and that's why I
43:43think that is his best position because he can look across the line he can time
43:46his runs well highlighted by that goal you see the possession starts there
43:51United in comfortable control of this game
43:56Granada no threat whatsoever really Rashford has eight European goals this
44:03season now including the spell in the Champions League including that hat-trick
44:08he got against Leipzig she might have won 5-0 but it was Leipzig who went
44:13through from the group with Paris Saint-Germain
44:18United rather messed it up losing their last two games and they look to be
44:23sailing through IAC's leading Roma by a goal to nil we're hearing Clarson's got
44:31that one Manchester United meet if they go through the winners of that
44:38title me
44:47free kick here to the yellow card for Scott McTominay to head to the one
44:55against copper and that will mean he misses the second leg there are several
45:00players in that kind of position Lindelof and McGuire as well and Luke
45:05Shaw if they pick up a yellow tonight to be fair I thought that was a yellow
45:11card for Scott McTominay high studs
45:17Toro play it forward off the outside of the post was it in the end it looked
45:35like that yeah I think it was I think that they
45:39had a covered up the switched off defensively Manchester United and
45:43Tommy
45:49you see that yeah outside the post
45:57from Herrera
46:04just a slight change in the mood last five minutes of the half
46:07Granada looking to bear their teeth a little bit more we haven't seen too much
46:12of them his soldado
46:16just wouldn't come down with it for soldado poor defensively for Manchester
46:22United there's the volley outside of the post
46:27keep out of color didn't he
46:31maybe sure he did he had it covered
46:43the biggest alarm Manchester United have had so far they haven't in too many
46:49Tom and I miscue that time by Greenwood
46:55looking for the free kick for their challenge there by Luke Shaw and if he
46:59gets a yellow card and he does he is also out of the second leg
47:09three yellows for United in the first half now they've got strength in depth
47:16O'Neill tell us can play that Fred Tom and I
47:21Antonio Puertas being brought down the player has been with the stump quite a
47:31while now helping them in their promotion into La Liga
47:51chipped in there and they were hoping soldado could just get a more meaningful
47:55touch onto that one is as it was it's smuggled behind for the corner kick
48:00it's done that well a couple occasions Fernandez track the run switches on
48:08doing his defensive duties for the side it's good idea wasn't it from Granada
48:14good free kick from Montaro
48:18Kennedy good volley great technique super hit that Beckham to scores wasn't
48:27it Bradford away scores in the studio I remember it sure he does it's just
48:36another goal for Scorsese
48:39Greenwood opportunity here for Manchester United
48:50another gave the ball away the key moment that's a very good challenge by
48:54Vallejo though player that round Madrid once paid five million pounds for by a
49:01hope some more work to do here and does it
49:08termination attacking Granada
49:29in the knockout rounds Manchester United have only conceded one goal so far that
49:34Simon care at Old Trafford for Milan
49:42Granada are trying to step it up a bit here in the later stages of the half
49:47you mean quite inventive of me and I'll set pieces great strike comfortable for
49:51David the hair just in front of him good taking the goalkeeper they have been
49:58inventive in their you know corners and set them free kicks
50:12and hell of on Toro with a corner kick here for Granada late in the half
50:20there's been half of the goal kick in the end
50:2440 years old he is the coach Diego Martinez spent a long time as part of
50:31Sevilla's youth system as we look again at Rashford's wonderfully composed
50:37finish it was good from Rassford because he was looking at the ball looking to
50:41the goalkeeper he was checking if the goalkeeper was going to come out
50:45wonderful pass no pressure on on the ball just think the Granada player
50:51should have dropped two or three yards but the runner rush with the touch
50:54magnificent it was the one moment they went to sleep back there wasn't it was
50:59just switched off for a second and Rashford pounced two minutes of added
51:05time we're playing at the end of the first half here in southern Spain
51:12Barney night in Andalusia
51:19just to watch his step a little bit now as does popper and we picked up that
51:25yellow Brooke could play well though McTominay
51:32Comanches United neighbor could pull that to Puertas sold out is pulling away
51:36into space neighbor carried on with his run good defensive work from Wanda
51:42Saka you recover so well doesn't he want the second not fall back position
51:53I suppose if you had a mix of him and Trent Alexander-Arnold you'd have maybe
51:57the perfect right back wouldn't you attacking defensive bits
52:03Kennedy's been lively still officially a Chelsea player though numerous loans it
52:13would seem a nomadic existence and maybe something again here Fernandez to
52:19Greenwood
52:23they just engineer that little bit of space he wanted for the shot comes to
52:27nothing in the end it stays at one mil as the first half comes to an end a
52:36lightning strike really by Manchester United Lindelof's wonderful forward
52:41ball Marcus Rashford's sumptuous control and cool finish and that's enough to
52:48give Manchester United a 1-0 lead down in Spain tonight Granada no Manchester
52:53United won at halftime with
