U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon rebuked a prosecutor from special counsel Jack Smith's office during a court session. Judge Cannon told Attorney David Harbach, "I don't like your tone," as he appeared to get exasperated over the judge's questioning regarding the modification of Donald Trump’s release conditions. The modification challenge arose from Trump’s baseless allegations that FBI agents intended to harm him during a 2022 search at his Mar-a-Lago estate, leading to a legal dispute by Smith’s office. Harbach was arguing that the judge should bar Trump from making more inflammatory statements about FBI agents involved in the investigation into the classified documents.
