00:33Willie Woof, an easy-peasy person from Easy-Peasy Island in the middle of a terrific ocean.
00:42Willie Woof is a forgetful sort of a dog.
00:46He forgets almost everything, almost all of the time.
00:50Most days he even forgets where he lives.
00:53Where is it again?
00:54Oh yes, Fiddlesticks Cottage on Easy-Peasy Island.
01:00Now, this story is about the time Willie forgot one of the most important things a
01:07dog can forget.
01:09It was last Monday, or it might have been Tuesday, I can't remember, and neither can
01:14Willie Woof.
01:16Willie Woof saw a bird, and Willie Woof, being Willie Woof, likes to chase birds.
01:26He opened his mouth to let out a bark and frighten the bird.
01:30But he'd forgotten how to, which is really very silly of him, because all he had to do
01:35was shout his name, Woof.
01:38But could he remember what he was supposed to say when he saw a bird?
01:43He could not.
01:48So he went on his way, and on his way he met a cow in a field.
01:52Excuse me, he said.
01:55What is it I'm supposed to say if I see a bird?
01:58The cow looked at him.
02:00Moo, she said.
02:02Of course, said Willie.
02:04How silly of me to forget.
02:10Willie Woof saw another bird.
02:13I'll give her the fright of her life, he chuckled to himself.
02:17And creeping very, very quietly up behind the bird, he took a deep breath and opened
02:23his mouth.
02:24Moo, he shouted.
02:30The bird looked at him.
02:31You dopey dog, she giggled, and flew off, giggling and chirping at the same time.
02:37Giggle chirp, giggle chirp, giggle chirp.
02:43Willie Woof went on his way, and on his way he met a pig.
02:48What is it that I'm supposed to say if I see a bird?
02:51He asked the pig.
02:53The pig looked at him.
02:54Oink, he said.
02:57Of course, said Willie.
02:58How silly of me to forget.
03:04He saw another bird.
03:06Ho ho ho, he chortled.
03:08And creeping very, very, very quietly up behind the bird, he took a deep breath and
03:14opened his mouth.
03:16Oink, he shouted.
03:21The bird looked at him.
03:23You daft dog, she laughed, and flew off, chuckling and chirping at the same time.
03:29Chuckle chirp, chuckle chirp, chuckle chirp.
03:35Willie Woof went on his way, and on his way he met a sheep.
03:40Do please tell me what it is I'm supposed to say if I see a bird?
03:44He asked.
03:45The sheep looked at him.
03:47Baa, she said.
03:49Of course, laughed Willie Woof.
03:51How silly of me to forget.
03:57Willie Woof saw another bird, and Willie Woof grinned a doggy grin.
04:03Now I'll give you a shock, he murmured.
04:06And creeping very, very, very quietly up behind the bird, he took a deep breath and opened
04:12his mouth.
04:13Baa, he shouted.
04:19The bird looked at him in great amusement.
04:22You dippy dog, she snickered, and flew off, snickering and chirping at the same time.
04:28Snicker chirp, snicker chirp, snicker chirp.
04:34After meeting a cow, a pig, and a sheep, guess who Willie Woof met next?
04:40Another dog.
04:41What is it that we dogs are supposed to say when we see a bird?
04:45Willie asked him.
04:47The dog looked him in the eye.
04:49Woof, he said.
04:50You silly billy.
04:53Of course, cried Willie Woof.
05:00He went on his way, and on his way, he saw yet another bird.
05:04He smiled.
05:06Now that he knew what to say, this would be easy, easy peasy, ho ho ho.
05:17And up he crept behind the bird, very, very, very, very, very quietly.
05:24And he took a deep breath, and he opened his mouth, and he shouted again.
05:31He'd forgotten what the other dog had told him.
05:34He thought, and he thought, and then he thought again, and then he remembered.
05:40He opened his mouth.
05:45You silly billy, he shouted.
