00:00As a matter of fact, out of the nine beads that were crafted by the NADACO team, only
00:11one has been processed, and that is the IBC amendment bead.
00:20The other eight beads are in limbo from a polysaw, and that's a demonstration of lack
00:29of good faith and commitment on the part of the government, which we have done our best
00:39as a union to push the agenda of the implementation of the NADACO report and its recommendations.
00:48So the starting point, before we engage or embark on another round of dialogue or conversations,
00:54let us fast-track the implementation of the NADACO report.
01:00We have, as a country, all it takes to be able to implement that report, to demonstrate
01:06good faith and commitment.
01:09Let us see, beginning Monday next week, a commitment by the government side to have
01:18the implementation of the NADACO report fast-tracked.
01:21Before we can embark on any other dialogue, because it's basically logical that you conclude
01:28one aspect of dialogue before you embark on another one.
01:33So the NADACO had very comprehensive recommendations, contained in a very comprehensive report,
01:40that if implemented, it would have addressed some of the issues that are being raised by
01:43the GNZ and other Kenyans.
01:47As a country, we must be serious sometimes, so that we don't seem to be basically going
01:54around in circles.
01:55Yet we know what needs to be done.
01:58It is not lack of knowledge of what needs to be done that is killing us, but a lack
02:03of commitment to do that which is necessary.
