Sonic runs deep into the Jungle Zone, a mysterious portion of South Island that has remained unexplored. Yet even here Robotnik has sent out his army of Badniks which try to thwart Sonic's progress at every turn. After foiling Robotnik's plans yet again, Sonic finds himself back in the dreaded Labyrinth Zone although this time around things aren't quite the same as Sonic remembers them...
