00:06In an interview with Boy Abunda, Karla says, quote, we are divorced, that's been recognized
00:12by our local court here in the Philippines.
00:14Tom, who is a US citizen, flew to the United States in June 2022 to obtain a divorce decree.
00:20But the ex-couple had to file for recognition for foreign divorce in a Philippine court
00:25for the dissolution of their marriage to take effect in the Philippines.
00:28Karla says she hasn't spoken with Tom since 2022, adding she'd prefer to keep it that
00:33way.
00:34In June 2022, Karla opened up about her relationship with Tom, saying she'd been hurt and betrayed.
00:40She says she is no longer angry at Tom and has forgiven him.
00:44Karla and Tom were married in October 2021 after dating for seven years.
