00:00The UST Hospital in Manila caught fire early this morning.

00:05According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire started from a short-circuit in the electricity.

00:10Here's the hot news brought to you by EJ Gomez.

00:15The UST Hospital was alarmed at 3 o'clock this morning because of the thick smoke from the fourth floor.

00:23The BFB personnel ordered a portion of the elevator to let the smoke out.

00:28The fire started in one room and spread quickly to the adjacent rooms.

00:33Ten firetrucks were the first to respond.

00:35Patients were nervous and afraid.

00:38The hospital was on guard and alert when the fire broke out.

00:42I was surprised because they were already confused.

00:44I said, why? Why?

00:46There's a fire. There's a fire.

00:48Huh? Where? I said like that.

00:50He said, on the fourth floor.

00:52Where's the fourth floor? Del Carmen.

00:54That's where my son was confined.
