00:00A cultural and artistic rally that not only strengthens the link between Serravalle Designer Outlet and the city of Milan,
00:11but above all aims to highlight the support of the Mecartur-Glen group center to the LGBTQIA plus community.
00:18This is the District of Joy, taking place from June 24 to 30 in the Porta Romana neighborhood in Milan,
00:23on the occasion of Pride Week and part of the Palinsesto of Milano Pride initiatives.
00:28Conclusive moment of the week of events and free activities,
00:32whose main event was a live music show of which Loredana Bertè was undisputed protagonist,
00:37the talk What does Generation Z want from a company?
00:40An opportunity to listen and compare with which activists, educators and experts have participated.
00:45Generation Z, the new generations, enter the world of work with a value system
00:49that has changed in evolution, as it has always been over time.
00:54The first thing is to listen to this value system, to understand it,
00:58and to try as a company not only passively to learn, but also to create,
01:06therefore to put an aspect of concreteness, of projectuality,
01:09within the business plans and marketing plans of the companies.
01:13This is certainly the new generation waiting for it, and we are doing it in Serravalle.
01:18We are here to present a report that was born exactly in this type of approach,
01:24a cultural and artistic report that concretely, by voice, has principles,
01:29principles in which we believe and in which we are convinced that the people we are talking to also believe.
01:35Distrito Gioia is just that. It is not a single event,
01:39in fact it is inserted within a multi-year course,
01:43which started a few years ago and certainly will not end now.
01:48To explain how much emerged from the debate, the moderator Vitto Pascale.
01:52The young generations are free people who no longer adhere to a formalism,
02:01let's call it that, it is a generation of rupture,
02:04which certainly seeks as a value to be well within a job,
02:09a job is a generation that does not consider career a fundamental concept to move forward in the world of work,
02:17but prefers a working environment that cultivates values related to diversity, equity and inclusion,
02:24therefore, as I said before, simply to be well in their workplace
02:28and to express themselves to the best of their potential and abilities.
