00:00The formation of alliances of political parties for the upcoming election of 2025 is about to start.

00:07Which parties will join forces?

00:11This is what Jonathan Andala is aiming for.

00:17The alliance of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas or PFP,

00:22the party of President Bongbong Marcos,

00:24after the strong CMD, Nationalist People's Coalition,

00:27and National Unity Party, according to Rep. Ace Barbers,

00:31will also join the coalition of his Partido Nacionalista Party.

00:36We are in the process of firming up the alliance between the Nacionalista and the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.

00:43And we would like to align with them in order that we can show and manifest the support of the party

00:51in all of the programs of our President, in the change of the Philippines and in its development.

00:57So soon, even probably before this month ends, we will have a signing.

01:06The President of the PFP, South Cotabato Governor Jun Tamayo, said that they are not yet finalizing their talks with the NP.

01:12There are still negotiations on the terms of the alliance of the two parties.

01:16The opposition, the Liberal Party, is already considering four candidates for the Senate.

01:21According to LP President Representative Edson Lagman,

01:24they will not form the 12 names because their funds are limited.

01:29But they are convincing former Vice President Leni Robredo to run for Senator,

01:34even though she has already announced that she wants to run for Mayor of Naga.

01:38It's a continuing effort, but we always respect her decision.

01:43If she will run for a local position, we are asking her to be active in the national campaign.

01:50Former Senator Antonio Trellanes IV also urged the formation of a coalition of the Anay Pink Forces

01:56with the camp of President Bongbong Marcos.

01:58After the news of Ilan from the Duterte family came out,

02:01it is possible that she will run for Senator.

02:04But Lagman said,

02:05We are not seriously considering any alliance with the Duterte Forces or the Marcos Forces.

02:15For now, Lagman said that LP is part of the Magdalo Coalition

02:20and the new party that is a collective of uniting Filipinos.

02:23The Mabayan Blok Coalition in Congress will form its own senatorial slate.
