00:00We are still together on MEDIEN TV. Thank you for staying loyal to us. Here are the titles of your day.
00:18In Morocco, Casablanca will be at the meeting on the occasion of the World Cup 2030.
00:23How are the projects going in the city? The question was yesterday at the heart of a meeting chaired by the Minister of the Interior, Abdel Wafil Haftid. We will talk about it in a moment.
00:33The Lebanese Hezbollah has fired more than 200 rockets and explosive drones on the north of Israel today, a reprisal to the death of one of its top commanders, killed in an Israeli strike.
00:47Voting day in the United Kingdom. The British have been sliding their ballots in the urn since this morning to elect their MPs. Labourers are the big favourites to dislodge the Conservatives.
01:01The French Parliament will hold a regular session of the Council of the Elements this Friday.
01:05Before we develop these titles, we will start this newspaper in Morocco, where we are at J-1, the opening of the regular session of the Council of the Elements.
01:14It will be held this Friday, following the high approval of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI Amir al-Mumineen, who presides over this Council.
01:22At the heart of this 33rd session, there will be the monitoring of the regulatory and scientific aspects for the implementation of the communication plan, but also the implementation of the official portal of the Council of the Elements.
01:37The 2030 World Cup is in six years' time, but it is now that this great celebration of global football is being prepared.
01:45In Morocco, Casablanca wants to welcome the fans waiting for this occasion.
01:52To know a little more about the state of progress intended to allow the city to be at the rendezvous,
02:02the Minister of the Interior, Abdel Wafi Laftite, held a meeting yesterday at the headquarters of the Willaya of the Casablanca-Cetate region.
02:11This meeting was attended by the President of the Moroccan Royal Football Federation, Fawzi Lakja,
02:17and the Governor of the Casablanca Prefecture, Mohamed Mehediyeh.
02:26There is still no rest in the war in Gaza.
02:28The Israeli army is still piloting the Palestinian enclave on Thursday.
02:33Fights are raging in Shujaia, in the north, and in Rafa, in the south.
02:38Strikes that come after an evacuation order in this region, which has pushed tens of thousands of Palestinians to a new exodus,
02:47thus making the humanitarian situation on the ground more disastrous.
02:52It is also one of the consequences of this war that is burning a part of the region.
02:58The Lebanese Hezbollah has fired today more than 200 rockets and explosive drones in the north of Israel
03:07in retaliation for the death of one of its high commanders killed in an Israeli strike.
03:12This, in a context where the last exchanges of fire associated with a recent verbal surrender of the two camps,
03:19fear a regional escalation.
03:24While the tension remains alive in the region, Israel has approved the seizure of 1,270 hectares of land,
03:33thus occupying Jordan.
03:35The Israeli organization La Paix now speaks of a record seizure since the Oslo Accords.
03:41The Israeli authorities have not publicly commented on this last seizure,
03:46which risks exacerbating the already explosive situation in the occupied Jordan.
03:54Day of vote in the United Kingdom.
03:56The British have started this morning to slip their ballots into the ballot box to elect their deputies.
04:02The general elections, of which the workers are the big favorites,
04:06to dislodge the extremely unpopular conservatives after 14 years of tumultuous power.
04:11And if the polls confirm that Alistair Merr, a former specialist lawyer of human rights of 61 years,
04:19will be in charge of forming the government.
04:24And to find out a little more about the issues of these legislatives in the United Kingdom,
04:27let's follow this story from my office.
04:30After 14 years of conservative government, do the British intend to change sides?
04:37The answer will be revealed on Thursday night, after the legislative elections of July 4.
04:44Polls predict a crushing victory of the workers led by Keir Starmer.
04:49The left party could win even more seats in Westminster than with Tony Blair in 1997.
04:56The workers have however warned that they would not have a magic wand to transform the country.
05:01But the analysts estimate that a government led by this party could bring new stability to the tormented relations
05:08between the United Kingdom and the European Union.
05:11The conservatives have already accepted their defeat against Labour.
05:15Rishi Sunak's party has had a drop in opinion polls since 2021.
05:20This reality does not prevent the British Prime Minister
05:23from continuing to fight to avoid a super-majority to his left-wing rivals.
05:28Moreover, one of the causes that opposed the two parties during the election campaign
05:32is the issue of asylum seekers.
05:34Rishi Sunak had already committed to start sending some asylum seekers to Rwanda
05:39before the general elections.
05:41He had made the implementation of this policy one of the priorities of his mandate.
05:45But after anticipating the legislative elections,
05:48he declared that the program would be implemented if he was re-elected on July 4.
05:52On his side, Keir Starmer has committed to cancel this program,
05:56which has already cost £240 million, i.e. $305 million, if he is elected.
06:03Another country, another legislative election.
06:05We go straight to France, where the second round is scheduled for Sunday.
06:09FRENCH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
06:14FRENCH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
06:16FRENCH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
06:18FRENCH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
06:20At the end of a more and more tense campaign,
06:23after three days of scrutiny, the parties throw their last strength into the battle.
06:28Marine Le Pen, assimilating the implementation of a Republican front against the RNA,
06:34a single party that aims to deprive the far-right party of an absolute majority in the Assembly.
06:40In the country, we also note a multiplication of incidents and racist insults to J-3 of the second round of these legislative elections.
06:51And despite the resignation of the presidential camp in favor of the left-wing coalition,
06:55a new popular front to blockade the far-right,
06:59for Emmanuel Macron, it is out of the question to govern with French insubordination after the legislative elections.
07:06Even his bell, on the side of his Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal,
07:09for whom there is no and never will be an alliance with the party of Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
07:17And then, on the second round of this Sunday,
07:2030,000 police officers and gendarmes, including 5,000 in Paris and its suburbs,
07:24will be mobilized to avoid any incident.
07:27In the country, the mobilizations against the National Assembly continue.
07:32Thousands of people gathered yesterday in Paris to call for the vote against the far-right,
07:38a meeting held at the request of many media, unions and associations.
07:43In Avignon too, in the south, several hundred people marched against the RNA.
07:58I will be in the race until the end, and we will win.
08:04Joe Biden's words, the American president for whom it is out of the question to withdraw from the presidential race,
08:10he recognizes having been, I quote, bad during his debate with Donald Trump,
08:15but it was just a mistake, and for the White House, no withdrawal from the candidacy,
08:19despite the very strong concerns about Biden's state of affairs.
08:24They say they want to be on the right side of history.
08:29We are in Central Asia, where Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese Xi Jinping
08:34pleaded this Thursday for a multipolar world order.
08:38It was at the summit of Astana that several countries met, in close relations with the West,
08:44and together they had the opportunity to denounce American unilateralism,
08:48which they intend to counter with their allies.
08:53They were arrested, then judged and sentenced in one day.
08:57In RDC, 25 military men accused of fleeing in front of the enemy, namely the rebels of the M23,
09:03were sentenced to death.
09:05The other accused, including the four women, were acquitted without evidence.
09:11Since the end of last week, the rebels of the M23 have taken control of several locations on the northern front of the conflict,
09:19including Kanya Bayonga, located a hundred kilometers from Goma.
09:27We remain in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where China has confirmed today
09:32that several of its citizens living in this country have been killed and some have disappeared
09:39during a militia attack the day before against a mini-province in Nitori, a province rich in gold.
09:46In addition, several Congolese have also been killed or injured in this attack.
09:52How to better teach Amazigh in Moroccan schools and make it a tool of promotion of excellence?
09:59The question was at the heart of a study day on the subject organized yesterday by the Ministry of Education.
10:08A global approach to generalization and excellence.
10:12The theme of this study day, which included the participation of a group of university students and specialists,
10:18objective to highlight the challenges and opportunities related to the teaching of Amazigh in the Moroccan educational system
10:25and improve its quality through the different levels of education.
10:35During the last two years, we have carried out several pedagogical reforms to improve the quality of Amazigh teaching.
10:41We have also improved our pedagogical frameworks and refined the continuous training of teachers.
10:46At the same time, we have hired new teaching staff.
10:56The organization of this study day is part of the progressive dissemination workshop
11:02on the teaching of the Amazigh language, realizing the requirements of the 2022-2026 roadmap.
11:11Amazigh has been known for more than two decades.
11:15Amazigh has been very successful in the last two years,
11:20whether it is in terms of the number of learners, the number of schools or the generalization of the teaching of this language.
11:26The organization is doing everything possible to further improve the teaching of Amazigh.
11:32But there are also a number of obstacles that the ministry has faced.
11:39The teaching of the Amazigh language requires taking into account a set of basic characteristics
11:44to guarantee its effectiveness and meet the desired educational objectives,
11:48hence the need for modern pedagogical standards.
